Actually, we Asians often eat very spicy food. Among them, mullet fish can be made very tasty in this way. I got mullet fish, but this rockfish is small. Very tasty, so let's see how to make it.
Ingredients;
- 500g of mullet fish
- A teaspoon of lime juice
- A teaspoon of curry powder
- Half teaspoon of turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of fenugreek seeds
- Two tablespoons of black pepper powder
- One and half teaspoons of salt powder
- Half cup of thick coconut milk
- One and half tablespoons of oil
- A tablespoon of crushed ginger
- A tablespoon of crushed garlic
- A handful of curry leaves
- A few pandan leaves
- Half a large onion cut into small pieces
- Two green chilli pods cut lengthwise
- A few lemongrass
The method of making;
Wash and clean the stonefish and cut it into normal-size pieces
Then add curry powder, turmeric powder, a teaspoon of pepper powder, salt powder and a teaspoon of lime juice.
Stir well and leave to marinate for half an hour.
Now take a pan and add to oil it, then add crushed ginger and garlic.
Add fenugreek seeds and chopped onions.
Then add curry leaves,pandan leaves and lemongrass.
Add mullet fish.
Add half a cup of water to the pot where the mullet fish is marinated. Add it to that pan of water. After that cover with a lid and cook for about eight minutes.
Then add chopped green chillies.
Add half teaspoon of salt powder again.
Then add a tablespoon of pepper powder.
Add half a cup of milk and stir again very carefully and cook on medium flame for about five minutes and remove the stove.
This stone fish species does not really need to be cooked for a long time. Steams very quickly. It has a spicy and milky taste due to the added milk flavor and chilli flavor. Really very tasty. I think you can try it not only with rice but also like bread and dose for breakfast. Make it and taste it.
