Udon lovers this way! Okay, before diving into any bowl, I'm experimenting the blind typing just both to kind of have fun, to relax myself and kind of giving my eyes the rest from all the screen staring all day long. This coud become a thing and I think I kind of find it quite fun at least for now. I mean, I'm actually typing with my eyes close and just all imagination with the typing and also I see the word in my own head.. Well, give it a try and let me know if you have that much fun just like i am.. Well, getting a bit stressful though .. just a little. :D
Anyways, this place, totally for noodles o r udon lovers! I have seen it a lot of times driving around Chiang Mai old town but never really have a chance to stop by, one reason is because it's not at the best spot to stop or park if you're not really coming here on intention.
Finally we did and we actually did plan to go there. It's not a rgular noodle place. It's more premiere with the real handmade noodle and really just made right in fron't of you. From dough kneading, to cutting the noodle and so on. It's fun to see and even cooler when you know it's real homemade! well, shop made byut made by hand so it's special!
I have seen quite a lot of reviews on their dish with thick cream white sauce whith some shrimmp rolles on top and I can't order anything else but that. It' looks tempting and speical and not like you can find it elsewhere easily so there I went. I think it ended up being about three to four hundred range so that's like, ten to thirteen dollars.
Quite pricy considering it's a place in Chiang Mai. But because of its uniqueness, I'm willing to pay and try and judge it for myself.
After trying, the first few bites or spoons, omg, probably one of the best udon I have tried. Not sure if I'm bias because of the homemade presentation or not. The noodle was shoft but also kind of chewy texture. In my opinion just the way udon texture should be. Just that, it could be a little softer as well.
The cream sauce, first few spoons were great but when it's a little more spoons, I think it's a bit too creamy to have it for the whole meal so... Maybe I stick with the original soup next time The shrimp roes and the n cream sauce compliment each other real well though. It's a really good combination. So good!
My friend went for a fancier bowl with beef, but not just the regular, he went with something special.. not sure what it is exactly. The broth was real good though. Umami just the way it should be.
This is something special and for sure I would like to go back and try more from their menu or just to go get the udon because I was in love with the texture!
Okay.. Blind typing is amazing. I know it's not hundred percent grammar correct or hundred percent spelling but for sure you understand what I'm trying to say here and all the expeirnece and the real opinion.. Out of the imagination since I'm not looking at the photos, the text and all the things I have written before hand.
