Bachata del Sol Challenge, Ft. @dimeilaz 🌞💃🏽 [ESP-ENG]

Hace más de un año @dimeilaz y yo tuvimos la oportunidad de realizar un Taller de Bachata aquí en nuestro país y ciudad, Caracas Venezuela, con Miguel Casas y Sunsire Nieto (ella venezolana y él español, ambos viviendo en Madrid) en el cuál quedamos fascinados y mega inspirados por ver a Bailarines Profesionales de este género en vivo, que para mi el solo de ser público y admirarlos es una completa experiencia tanto por lo que transmiten, como la conexión entre ellos, la música, y por supuesto, lo limpio fluídos y espectaculares que son sus movimientos; y a su vez, poder apender de ellos, y en mi caso bailar y tener conexión con ambos durante el transcurso de la clase, jeje. Pero el caso es que hace más de una semana sacaron por su cuenta de Instagram, @miguelysunsire, este Challenge a manera de Concurso, y yo de una pensé en Guille para hacerlo por haber vivido juntos esa experiencia previamente.

More than a year ago @dimeilaz and I had the opportunity to do a Bachata Workshop here in our country and city, Caracas Venezuela, with Miguel Casas and Sunsire Nieto (she Venezuelan and he Spanish, both living in Madrid) in which we were fascinated and mega inspired by seeing professional dancers of this genre live, that for me just to be public and admire them is a complete experience both for what they transmit, as the connection between them, the music, and of course, how clean fluid and spectacular their movements are; And in turn, to be able to learn from them, and in my case to dance and have a connection with both of them during the course of the class, hehe. But the thing is that more than a week ago they took out on their Instagram account, @miguelysunsire, this Challenge as a Contest, and I thought of Guille to do it because we had lived that experience together previously.

La coreografía me parece súper sabrosa y nada difícil de aprender, y por ello más animada estaba por participar, independientemente si logramos ganar o no. Que de hacerlo, tendríamos pases o para El Sol Festival de este año en el mes de noviembre, que sería para el primer lugar; pases para las fiestas de ese festival de segundo, o dos pases igualmentre para El Sol Festival Spring el año que viene, de tercer lugar, y para mi el más atractivo particularmente. Pero como les comento, tanto Guille como yo estamos neutros en cuánto a eso, sin expectativas para no llegar a sentirnos achicopalados. Sin embargo, obviamente estamos receptivos a la posibilidad de poder ganar algunos de los puestos y poder vivir esa maravillosa experiencia de aprender y estar rodeados de Bailarines de Bachata en un Festival, que para mi es un sueño totalmente...

The choreography seems to me super tasty and not difficult to learn, so I was even more excited to participate, regardless of whether we win or not. If we did, we would have passes either for El Sol Festival this year in November, which would be for first place; passes for the festivities of that festival for second place, or two passes for El Sol Festival Spring next year, for third place, and for me the most attractive in particular. But as I said, both Guille and I are neutral about it, without expectations so we don't get to feel stunted. However, we are obviously receptive to the possibility of winning some of the positions and being able to live that wonderful experience of learning and being surrounded by Bachata Dancers in a Festival, which for me is a dream come true....

En cuanto a la grabación del video, fue bastante amena, nos ayudó mi papá, como siempre, y le hicimos completo honor al calor que está haciendo este verano con el nombre de la canción JAJAJ. El día que grabamos si luchamos un poquito con esto, ya que los dos sudamos mucho y el día estaba bastante despejado, pero no nos fue impedimento alguno, y eso es lo importante. As for the recording of the video, it was quite enjoyable, my dad helped us, as always, and we did full honor to the heat that is doing this summer with the name of the song HAHAHAH. The day we shot the video we struggled a little bit with this, since we both sweated a lot and the day was pretty clear, but it wasn't an impediment, and that's what's important.
