in diesem Introduction Post möchten wir Euch vorstellen, welche Inhalte Ihr auf unserem neuen Blog "Kryptokraftwerk" erwarten könnt.
Diese Seite wird von @melonqueen und @ogfox betrieben und wir freuen uns auf die gemeinsame Reise und den stetigen Austausch mit Euch.

Einleitung
In wenigen Tagen ist es soweit und unsere Solaranlage geht endlich an das Stromnetz und produziert Strom für unseren Haushalt.
Bei der Planung der PV-Anlage haben wir uns für eine 8,6 KW Anlage entschieden. Unsere Absicht ist hierbei, so viel Strom wie möglich selber zu verbrauchen.
Mit unseren E Autos sind wir dafür schon gut aufgestellt. Geplant ist diese von morgens um 10 Uhr bis abends um 18 Uhr durchgängig mit ca. 4 KW zu laden. Dabei reicht die Stromerzeugung der PV-Anlage bei guten Bedingungen außerdem noch dafür aus, unseren 9,2 KW Speicher voll zu laden.
Für eingespeisten Strom erhalten wir lediglich 8 Cent, was im Vergleich zu den Stromkosten, die wir bei Abnahme aus dem Netz zahlen, eher ein schlechter Scherz ist. Diese liegen für uns aktuell nämlich bei ca. 29 Cent pro KWh.
Bei unseren Recherchen wie man man seinen Strom noch besser nutzen kann, sind wir auf Twitter über Kellermining gestoßen. Auf der Twitterseite wird sehr ausführlich darüber gepostet wie man PV Strom am besten für das Mining verwenden kann und welches Setup sich dafür gut eignet.
In den nächsten Wochen beschäftigten wir uns mehr und mehr mit dem Thema und haben vor gut 10 Tagen unseren ersten Krypto Miner bestellt.
Mining in Deutschland - Lohnt sich das?
Wenn man sich nur oberflächlich mit dem Thema Mining in Deutschland beschäftigt, wird man schnell zum dem Ergebnis kommen, dass das Ganze nicht wirklich profitabel ist, weil Aufwand und Ertrag in keinem Verhältnis zueinander stehen.
So einfach lässt sich das Thema aber nicht abhaken. Richtig ist aus unserer Sicht, dass sich Mining ohne eigene PV-Anlage und selbstproduzierten Strom nicht lohnt. Beziehungsweise nur dann lohnt, wenn man auf sehr riskante Coins setzt und diese über längere Zeit Ihren Wert halten oder steigern.
Mit einer PV-Anlage sieht die Welt aber schon wieder anders aus. Hier könnt Ihr Euch entscheiden, ob Ihr den Strom für 8 Cent verkauft oder Ihn lieber selber nutzt und Euch hierfür zum Beispiel intensiver mit dem Thema Krypto beschäftigt.
Natürlich haben wir für das Mining ein kleines Gewerbe angemeldet und werden die Gewinne entsprechend versteuern. Neben der anfallenden Versteuerung bietet das Gewerbe auf der anderen Seite aber auch das Recht, Kosten entsprechend abzusetzen. Das bedeutet, dass wir sowohl den Miner als auch die extra gezogene Steckdose sowie ein paar andere Kleinigkeiten absetzen können und auch werden.
Dadurch reduziert sich unser Risiko und die tatsächlichen Ausgaben. Grundsätzlich haben wir uns natürlich auch mit dem Gedanken beschäftigt, dass die Idee nicht profitabel sein könnte. Für diesen Fall hätten wir aber trotzdem einiges dazugelernt und werden unsere Ausgaben als "Lehrgeld" verbuchen. Um dieses Risiko bestmöglich einzuschätzen haben wir eine Profitabilitätsrechnung vorgenommen.
Mining in Deutschland - Unsere Profitabilitätsrechnung
Auch wenn die extreme Volatilität im Kryptomarkt, eine Break-Even-Rechnung extrem schwierig macht, haben wird trotzdem 3 Szenarien für uns aufgestellt.
Für unseren Miner und das Zubehör haben wir insgesamt 4.900 € bezahlt. Dafür haben wir den Iceriver KS5L erworben. Mit diesem ASIC Miner können wir KAS und SDR Minen.
Im Best Case Szenario gehen wir davon aus, dass wir knapp mehr als 32 $ pro Tag verdienen. Im Mid Case Szenario gehen wir von ca. 20 $ pro Tag aus und im Worst Case von 13,88 $ pro Tag.
Je nach Szenario brauchen wir 155, 250 oder 360 Tage bis wir die 4.900 € wieder verdient haben.
Wir wollen unsere Erträge aber nicht in einer hoch volatilen Kryptowährung halten, sondern werden unsere wöchentlichen Einnahmen zur Hive Chain übertragen und hier in HBD wandeln. Dadurch erhalten wir auf unseren Ertrag nochmal 20 % Zinsen und die Zeit bis zum Break-Even verkürzt sich damit erheblich.
Im Best Case sind es dann nur noch 142 Tage, im Mid Case 222 Tage und im Worst Case 305 Tage.
Risiken beim Krypto Minen
Natürlich ist uns bewusst, dass das Risiko besteht, dass der von uns gewählte Coin ins bodenlose stürzt oder unser ASIC Miner vor dem Erreichen der Profitabilität kaputt geht. In beiden Fällen wäre ein Break-Even unmöglich zu erreichen und das Experiment gescheitert.
Außerdem könnte der Difficult für unsere Kryptowährung so weit steigen, dass der Ertrag je Tag irgendwann unter die Stromkosten fällt und somit das Einspeisen des Stroms doch die wirtschaftlich bessere Entscheidung wäre.
An diesem Punkt müssten wir abwägen, ob wir glauben, dass es zu einem starken Kursanstieg kommt und sich damit das Minen noch rechnen würde oder ob wir unseren Miner vom Netz nehmen.
Zuletzt haben wir noch das politische Risiko. Auch wenn wir unseren Miner als Gewerbe anmelden, kann es trotzdem zu Gesetzesänderungen kommen, welche uns beeinflussen und aktuell noch nicht absehbar sind.
Krypto Mining - Wie reduzieren wir das Risiko?
Da wir nur auf zwei Kryptowährungen setzen ist eine Risikoreduzierung relativ schwierig. Bei einer schlechten Entwicklung der gewählten Coins, könnte sich in den nächsten Monaten heraus stellen, dass wir auf "das falsche Pferd gesetzt haben".
Daher versuchen wir zusätzlich zum Minen mit dem Wissen, welches wir uns angeeignet haben, sowie den Erfahrungen, die wir jetzt sammeln, etwas Geld zu verdienen.
Hierfür werden wir einen kleinen Nischen Youtube-Kanal starten und dort einzelne, in sich abgeschlossene Videos zu den wichtigsten Themen sowie Problemen, welche uns beim Mining begegnen, veröffentlichen.
Damit möchten wir zum Einen unser Risiko ein wenig weiter minimieren und zum Anderen den Start ins Kryptomining erleichtern.

Introduction
In a few days' time, our solar system will finally be connected to the grid and producing electricity for our household.
When planning the PV system, we opted for an 8.6 KW system. Our intention is to consume as much electricity as possible ourselves.
We are already well equipped for this with our electric cars. The plan is to charge them continuously from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with approx. 4 KW. In good conditions, the electricity generated by the PV system will also be enough to fully charge our 9.2 KW storage unit.
We only receive 8 cents for the electricity we feed into the grid, which is a bit of a joke compared to the electricity costs we pay when we buy from the grid. These are currently around 29 cents per KWh for us.
While researching how to make even better use of our electricity, we came across Kellermining on Twitter. The Twitter page posts in great detail about the best way to use PV electricity for mining and which setup is best suited for this.
Over the next few weeks, we got more and more involved with the topic and ordered our first crypto miner a good 10 days ago.
Mining in Germany - Is it worth it?
If you only take a superficial look at the topic of mining in Germany, you will quickly come to the conclusion that the whole thing is not really profitable because the cost and return are out of proportion.
However, the topic cannot be dismissed that easily. From our point of view, it is true that mining is not worthwhile without your own PV system and self-generated electricity. Or rather, it is only worthwhile if you are betting on very risky coins and these hold or increase their value over a longer period of time.
With a PV system, however, the world looks different again. Here you can decide whether you want to sell the electricity for 8 cents or prefer to use it yourself and, for example, get more involved with the topic of crypto.
Of course, we have registered a small business for mining and will tax the profits accordingly. On the other hand, in addition to taxation, the business also offers the right to deduct costs accordingly. This means that we can and will deduct the miner as well as the extra power socket and a few other small items.
This reduces our risk and the actual expenses. Of course, we have also considered the possibility that the idea might not be profitable. In this case, however, we would still have learned a lot and will book our expenses as “teaching money”. We have carried out a profitability calculation to assess this risk as accurately as possible.
Mining in Germany - Our profitability calculation
Even though the extreme volatility in the crypto market makes a break-even calculation extremely difficult, we have nevertheless drawn up 3 scenarios for ourselves.
We paid a total of €4,900 for our miner and accessories. For this we purchased the Iceriver KS5L. We can mine KAS and SDR with this ASIC miner.
In the best case scenario, we assume that we will earn just over 32 $ per day. In the mid case scenario, we expect to earn around 20 $ per day and in the worst case scenario 13.88 $ per day.
Depending on the scenario, we need 155, 250 or 360 days until we have earned back the €4,900.
However, we don't want to hold our earnings in a highly volatile cryptocurrency, but will transfer our weekly earnings to the Hive Chain and convert them into HBD here. This will give us another 20% interest on our earnings and significantly shorten the time to break-even.
In the best case, it is then only 142 days, in the mid case 222 days and in the worst case 305 days.
Risks of crypto mining
Of course, we are aware that there is a risk that the coin we have chosen will plummet or that our ASIC miner will break down before profitability is reached. In both cases, it would be impossible to break even and the experiment would fail.
In addition, the difficulty for our cryptocurrency could rise to such an extent that the yield per day falls below the cost of electricity at some point, meaning that feeding the electricity into the grid would be the better economic decision after all.
At this point, we would have to weigh up whether we believe that the price will rise sharply and mining would still pay off or whether we should take our miner off the grid.
Finally, there is the political risk. Even if we register our miner as a business, there may still be changes to the law that affect us and are not yet foreseeable.
Crypto mining - how do we reduce the risk?
As we only focus on two cryptocurrencies, it is relatively difficult to reduce risk. If the chosen coins perform poorly, it could turn out in the coming months that we have “backed the wrong horse”.
Therefore, in addition to mining, we are trying to earn some money with the knowledge we have acquired and the experience we are now gaining.
For this purpose, we will start a small niche YouTube channel and publish individual, self-contained videos on the most important topics and problems that we encounter while mining.
On the one hand, we want to minimize our risk a little further and, on the other hand, make it easier to get started with cryptomining.
Conclusion
