hier noch im Nachgang mein weiteres Wirken mit den frisch geernteten Zitronen aus meinem Garten. Nachdem ich nun also bereits eine schmackhafte Zitronenlimonade hergestellt hatte, machte ich mich an ein Zitronensorbet.
Eigentlich auch ganz einfach herzustellen. Einfach 7 Zitronen auspressen, was ich mit der handpresse aus dem Schrank begonnen hatte, bis meine Frau mich darauf aufmerksam machte, dass wir auch eine elektrische Presse haben. Das machte die Sache deutlich einfacher :-)
Dann den Saft zusammen mit Zucker und Wasser in den Thermomix und 5 Minuten kochen. Zum Abschluss noch ein Eiweiß hinzugeben und einmal gut mixen. Alles dann in gefrierschrankgeeignete Schalen gießen, Deckel drauf und ab ins Kühlfach. Nach 8 Stunden ist das Sorbet dann fertig.
Da ich aber noch immer reichlich Zitronen hatte, habe ich diese dann einfach gepresst und den Saft in eine Flasche abgefüllt. Diese kommt dann beim Kochen zum Einsatz.

here still in the follow-up my further work with the freshly harvested lemons from my garden. So now that I had already made a tasty lemonade, I made myself a lemon sorbet.
Actually also quite simple to make. Simply squeeze 7 lemons, which I had started with the hand press from the cupboard, until my wife pointed out to me that we also have an electric press. This made things much easier :-)
Then put the juice in the Thermomix along with sugar and water and cook for 5 minutes. Finally add an egg white and mix well once. Everything then pour into freezer-suitable bowls, lid on it and off into the freezer. After 8 hours the sorbet is ready.
Since I still had plenty of lemons, I simply pressed them and filled the juice into a bottle. This is then used in cooking.
