Drohnen haben sich die letzten Jahre enorm weiterentwickelt, vor allem mit dem Aufkommen von Smart-Drohnen.
Was sich aber kaum verändert hat, ist die Mini-Stick/Gimbal-basierte Steuerung von FPV (First-Person-View) Drohnen. Die FPV-Controller wirken ein bisschen aus der Zeit gefallen und erinnern an die Controller von ferngesteuerten Helikoptern der 1980er und 1990er Jahre.
Zu dieser Zeit gab es noch keine hoch-präzisen Gaming-Mäuse, kein VR- und keine X-Box-Controller.
FPV-Drohnen werden mit einem VR-ähnlichen Headset, das die Cockpit-Ansicht live in 2D überträgt, und einem Stick-basierten RC-Drohnen-Controller gesteuert. Der Controller hat sich aber seit den 1980-er Jahren kaum weiterentwickelt.
Demensprechend ist die Steuerung mit dem manuellen Mini-Stick-Drohnen-Controller selbst für Gamer und VR-Enthusiasten nicht sehr intuitiv und muss erst mühsam gelernt werden.
Das wäre ungefähr so, als würde man ein VR-Game mit einem X-Box Controller spielen. Ist möglich, aber nicht optimal.
Die derzeitigen FPV-Drohnen-Controller erfordern weiters eine enorme chirurgische Präzision mit mikroskopischen Bewegungen der Mini-Sticks.
Dazu kommt, dass FPV-Drohnen fast keine Computer-Unterstützung bei der Steuerung bieten. Man kann dies als Feature / eigene Disziplin in der Drohnen-Steuerung sehen, aber damit FPV-Drohnen massentauglich werden, muss die Steuerung viel intuitiver und einfacher werden.
Das ist zum einen mit einer neuen Klasse von Eingabegeräten (wie Gaming-Mäusen/Tastatur oder VR-ähnlichen Controllern) möglich, aber erfordert auch mehr Computer-Unterstützung bei der Steuerung.
Je mehr Computer-Unterstützung, desto einfacher wird die Steuerung.
Smart-Drohnen können sich zum Beispiel selber stabilisieren oder sogar automatisch Hindernissen ausweichen.
DJI forscht auch an neuen VR-ähnlichen Controller-Ansätzen für FPV-Drohnen, die das Steuern der Drohnen viel intuitiver und Gamer-freundlicher machen sollen.
Ich denke in der Zukunft muss sich die Drohnen-Steuerung mehr auf Gamer (Maus/Tastatur, Xbox, VR-Enthusiasten) anpassen und nicht umgekehrt, damit Drohnen wirklich massentauglich werden können.

Drones have evolved enormously in recent years, especially with the introduction of smart drones.

I think that in the future, drone control will have to adapt more to gamers (mouse/keyboard, Xbox, VR enthusiasts) and not the other way around, so that drones can really become suitable for the masses.
