Eine Teilorganisation der österreichischen Raiffeisen Bank (RLB NÖ-Wien) führt den Handel mit Kryptos ein. Vor einigen Jahren wäre das unvorstellbar gewesen.
Raiffeisen ist eine große österreichische Bank, die auch international tätig ist, vor allem in Ost-Europa und Russland.
Bisher galt die Bank als eher konservativ und nicht gerade als krypto-freundlich.
Vor allem früher gab es immer wieder Berichte, dass Raiffeisen Euro-Transaktionen von und zu Krypto-Börsen blockiert haben soll.
Die Zeiten haben sich geändert. Das Projekt ist eine Kooperation der Raiffeisenlandesbank NÖ-Wien mit Bitpanda, um zunächst Kunden in Wien und NÖ den Handel mit Kryptowährungen zu ermöglichen. Sollte das erfolgreich sein, könnte ich mir vorstellen, dass die Kooperation auf die gesamte Raiffeisen-Bank ausgeweitet wird.

A sub-organization of the Austrian Raiffeisen Bank (RLB NÖ-Wien) introduces crypto trading. A few years ago, this would have been unimaginable.
Raiffeisen is a large Austrian bank that also operates internationally, particularly in Eastern Europe and Russia.
Until now, the bank was considered to be rather conservative and not exactly crypto-friendly.
Especially in the past, there were repeated reports that Raiffeisen had blocked euro transactions to and from crypto exchanges.
Times have changed though. The project is a cooperation between Raiffeisenlandesbank NÖ-Wien and Bitpanda to initially enable customers in Vienna and Lower Austria to trade cryptocurrencies. If this is successful, I could imagine that the cooperation will be extended to the entire Raiffeisen bank.
What do you think about the fact that Raiffeisen's most important regional bank now supports cryptos?
