Gestern bei einem amüsanten Vortrag der Web3 Foundation/Polkadot bei Block & Wine. Nathalie Boyke hat aus dem Nähkästchen geplaudert, wie es Polkadot bis jetzt geschafft hat, eine SEC-Einstufung als Wertpapier in den USA zu umgehen.
Drei Dinge, die Polkadot richtig gemacht haben, um eine Verfolgung der SEC bis jetzt zu vermeiden:
Erstens, Governance-Änderungen (mehr Dezentralität), zweitens Umstellung des Marketings (weniger Investment, mehr Infrastruktur-Blockchain), und drittens wahrscheinlich das Wichtigste eine proaktive Zusammenarbeit mit der SEC und dem Kongress in den USA.
"Alles ist politisch". Da muss ich Nathalie recht geben.

Yesterday at an entertaining presentation by the Web3 Foundation/Polkadot at Block & Wine in Vienna. Nathalie Boyke spilled the beans on how Polkadot has so far managed to avoid SEC classification as a security in the US.
Three things Polkadot has done right to avoid being prosecuted by the SEC so far:
First, governance changes (more decentralization), second, change in marketing strategy (less investment, more infrastructure blockchain), and third, probably most important, proactive cooperation, compliance with the SEC and Congress in the U.S.
"Everything is political". I have to agree with Nathalie on that.
