Die Netzentgelte steigen ab Januar in Österreich massiv an. Energie-Krise.
Netzentgelte sind zusätzliche Gebühren für das Stromnetz, die man pro kWh unabhängig vom Energieanbieter, on-top zahlen muss. Dadurch wird Strom noch teurer.
In Wien sogar um 30% (!) und das Netzentgelt beträgt dann statt 7.19 Cent pro kWh 9.46 Cent, fast 10 Cent pro kWh (excl. USt).
Begründet wird der kräftige Anstieg mit dem Ausbau der Netzinfrastruktur, der Inflation und dass der Strom-Verbrauch gesunken sei und daher mehr für eine kWh verrechnet werden müsse.
Das Netzentgelt inkludiert nicht den tatsächlichen Preis für die Bereitstellung der Energie, sondern ist eine Art Grundgebühr, die man alleine für das Netz zahlen muss.
Je nach Anbieter wird dann eine kWh effektiv inkl. Steuern um die 30 Cent kosten, oder auch mehr, wenn man nicht auf den günstigsten Anbieter wechselt.
Auch das Netzentgelt für Erdgas wird 2025 deutlich ansteigen (Wien +13.7%), aber nicht ganz so stark wie für Strom.
Dazu kommt, dass ab 2025 die staatliche Subventionierung von Strom (Energiepreisbremse) auslaufen wird.
Strom wird dadurch für viele deutlich teurer werden.
Was sagt ihr dazu? Wieviel zahlt ihr effektiv für eine kWh inkl. Netzgebühr und Steuern? Bei mir werden es dann um die 30 Cent sein.

Grid charges will rise massively in Austria from January 2025.
Grid fees are additional charges for the electricity grid that you have to pay per kWh, regardless of your energy provider. This will make electricity even more expensive in Austria (Europe). Energy crisis.
In Vienna it will even increase by 30% (!) and the grid fee will then be 9.46 cents per kWh instead of 7.19 cents, almost 10 cents per kWh (excluding VAT).
The sharp increase is being justified by the expansion of the grid infrastructure, inflation and the fact that electricity consumption has fallen and therefore more has to be charged per kWh.
The grid fee does not include the actual price for the provision of energy, but is a kind of basic fee that you have to pay for the grid alone.
Depending on the provider, one kWh will then effectively cost around 30 Euro cents including taxes, or even more if you don't switch to the cheapest provider.
The grid fee for natural gas will also increase significantly in 2025 (Vienna +13.7%), but not quite as much as for electricity.
In addition, government subsidies for electricity (energy price brake) will be phased out from 2025.
This will make electricity significantly more expensive for many people in Austria.
