Thank you for taking a look at the engagement question #6 for the Dolphin Assemble Community members only.
Just a quick update about our community.
Dolphin Assemble Community currently has two moderators, @culgin and @chekohler.
Our community moderators will help me to monitor that there is no forming of voting circle or upvote farming within the community. The moderators can also share good initiatives on Hive platform that our members may be interested to help or participate.
Generally, I do not need the moderators to do much in the community and I did state it clearly when I invited them to help me in managing the community.
Dolphin Assemble Community does not require members to participate in any activity and everything we do here would be based on individual freewill without obligation.
Your Opinion About Crossposting
I do hope that our community can become a place of opportunities for members to find out about wonderful projects that they may be interested to participate or help.
I would like to seek the opinion of the members whether you like the idea of cross posting wonderful projects into our community page.
@steempeak/intro-to-crossposting
Peakd does provide this function where we can get posts from elsewhere to be included into our community page.
If we are able to cross-post good projects, it will help community members to know what are the projects on Hive platform that are helping the platform as well as projects that they may be able to help within their own capacity and time.
If we allow everyone to cross post, it may be too unregulated.
Maybe the moderators can do the cross-posting onto our community page if they come across any good ones.
Getting More Moderators
I was also thinking of the idea of getting certain community leaders like @brittandjosie to become one of the moderators where she can cross post nice projects from @theterminal onto our community page.
An interesting idea of getting Dolphins who are community leaders to become our moderators where they can share certain projects that they think Dolphins can help.
By having Dolphins to share their meaningful projects with other dolphins, we are not adding any additional burden but promoting one another's interest in supporting the Hive platform in a greater way.
@nickyhavey is also involved as a moderator in projects like 'Your Top 3 Contest' Community.
I believe that there are many other dolphins who are involved in many meaningful projects.
By doing so, we can get to know how we can help as Dolphins by supporting meaningful projects totally based on individual decision without obligation as members of Dolphin Assemble Community.
Our community will remain as a community that does not require Dolphins to do anything except to mingle and get to know one another but we will have a centralised information gathering of meaningful projects for Dolphins as reference if they ever want to do more for the platform with their power as dolphins.
I will continue to engage our community with contest and engagement questions.
What is your opinion about cross posting of meaningful projects into our community page when our moderators happen to see meaningful ones?
We can also have a game of meaningful project hunting where members find meaningful projects to get a tip from me as a reward. It can be fun too.
Feel free to give your opinions as there are no right or wrong for this topic actually.
Your opinion can make a difference as I have mentioned that I am not a community leader but I simply provide a place for Dolphin to gather.
