There's a bad habit of measuring a movie's success by its box office earnings. It's very easy to get carried away by those who give their opinions based on these "statistics" and make bad decisions, not giving many cinematic masterpieces a chance. This happens with Transformers One, to date it is believed that the worldwide box office gross for this film barely exceeds $120 million USD, which contrasts with the $75 million USD that was invested in its production.

Existe el mal habito de medir el éxito de una película con lo que recauda en taquilla, es muy fácil dejarse llevar por quienes opinan basados en estas "estadísticas" y tomar malas decisiones y no darle la oportunidad a muchas obras maestras del cine. Pasa con Transformers One, a la fecha se cree que la recaudación en cines de todo el mundo para esta película supera apenas los $120 millones de USD, que contrastan con los $75 millones USD que se invirtieron en su rodaje.
It doesn't even double the money invested, and some dare to call this collection a failure, but if you compare it to The Wild Robot, which grossed over $230 million USD with an investment of $78 million USD. But nothing could be further from the truth, despite this being like the eighth installment of a Transformer movie, it has excited me much more than any of its predecessors, which I don't deny are spectacular, but it was high time it was animated.
No alcanza a duplicar el dinero invertido, y algunos se atreven a catalogar este recaudación como fracaso, mas si la comparas con The Wild Robot que recaudó sobre los $230 millones USD con una inversion de $78 millones USD. Pero nada mas lejos de la realidad, a pesar que esta es como la octava entrega de una película sobre Transformer, esta me ha emocionado mucho mas que cualquiera de sus predecesoras, que no niego son espectaculares, pero ya era hora que se hiciera animada.
The first three live-action films were really good, but after Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen (2009), the rest were redundant inventions, which they tried to save with Bumblebee (2018) and The Rise of the Beasts but which also didn't turn out to be the boom they expected. I dare say that Transformer One brings together everything that its predecessors sought to generate in its audience, today's youth and the fans who saw this franchise born in the 1980s.
Las tres primeras películas live-action fueron realmente buenas, pero después de Transformers 2: La venganza de los caídos (2009), las demás fueron inventos redundantes, que intentaron salvar con la Bumblebee (2018) y El Despertar de las Bestias pero que tampoco resultaron ser el boom que esperaban. Me atrevo a decir que Transformer One reúne todo lo que sus predecesoras procuraron generar en su audiencia, los jóvenes de hoy y los fanáticos que vimos nacer esta franquicia en la década de los 80.
I know my opinion seems a bit subjective, it's clearly noticeable that I'm a big fan of these robots, how could I not be if in my childhood Transformers toys were the coolest thing, we didn't have today's technology that captivates, back then we longed for their toys because we were seduced by the advertising that accompanied the movies and animated series. Transformers One is a clear call to the nostalgia of my generation, but it also invites the newest ones to enjoy a cinematic work that aims to explain an entire saga.
Se que mi opinion parece poco objetiva, se nota claramente que soy gran fan de estos robots, como no serlo si en mi niñez los juguetes de Transformers fueron lo mas Top, no teníamos la tecnología de hoy que atrapa, antes anhelábamos sus juguetes porque éramos seducidos por la publicidad que los acompañaba las películas y series animadas. Transformers One es un claro llamado a la nostalgia de mi generación, pero también invita a las mas recientes a disfrutar de una obra cinematográfica que pretende explicar toda una saga.
The film tells the story of Orin Pax and D-16, two robots who become friends while mining energon in the deepest part of their planet. Orion is a curious and adventurous robot who wants to know why his planet doesn't generate energon naturally as before, D-16 is more cautious and ends up involuntarily involved in all his friend's crazy schemes. Both discover a secret about what happened on their planet that changes the lives of both but in different ways.

Los acontecimientos a medida que se desarrollan, guían la historia para conocer los comienzo de cómo estos amigos se convierten en Optimus Prime y Megatron, líderes de los Autobot y Decepticons y la lucha por el control de Cybertron su planeta. Esta es la historia que todo fan quiere ver en pantalla desde hace mucho, como nuestros robots favoritos llegaron a ser estos grandes guerreros, las épicas escenas de acción, una animación muy bien pulida y detallada que enriquece una maravillosa historia.
Although the film seems like a gem to me, not everything can be perfect, for Latin America the dubbing was the worst, the artists, even though they are famous in the region, did not provide the strength that the characters require, that's why I highly recommend watching it in English with subtitles. Despite this, the final product is very good, the drama that accompanies the origin of the characters manages to touch sensitive fibers that end up exciting for the better. At the end of the movie I ended up very excited after several scenes, I didn't remember feeling so excited since Captain America lifted Thor's hammer, so if you're a fan you have to see it, if not too, I promise you'll enjoy it.
Aunque la película me parece una joya, no todo puede ser perfecto, para Latinoamérica el doblaje fue de lo peor, los artistas por mas que son famosos en la región, no aportaron la fuerza que los personajes requieren, por eso recomiendo ampliamente verla en ingles subtitulada. Pese a esto, el producto final es muy bueno, el drama que acompaña al origen de los personajes logra tocar fibras sensibles que termina emocionando para bien. Al final de la película termine muy emocionado tras varias escenas, no recordaba haberme sentido tan emocionado desde que el Capitán America levanta el martillo de Thor, por eso si eres fan tienes que verla, si no también, te prometo que la disfrutaras.
