If director Sisu is to direct this film (I haven't seen it yet, but the trailer itself is a work of art) and Rambo is as good as I think, then this is the wisest decision that has been made in connection with this brand. I keep my fingers crossed, I would love to watch a decent prequel.

We've met the actors who will play the 3 children and some of the other actors. I watched the ones I remembered from the book - Molly Weasley, the Dursleys, Lavender Brown, the Malfoy family. Generally they look ok. I am even more surprised by the decision to cast a black person as Snape. I know it's acting, I know Papa Essiedu is a good actor, but this is one of those characters who are extremely unsuitable for changing skin color. Pale skin, greasy hair, an image of Snape imprinted in my head, which I created WHILE READING THE DESCRIPTION FROM THE BOOK. This is by no means racism. It's just that the image of Snape is too strongly established in our consciousness, and HP is not some niche franchise or a play in the theater.
Malfoy has "motherfucker" eyes, he fits the bill of a teenage racist. His father is not as well-matched as in the old movie, but he is such an episodic character that I waved it off. Molly and Aunt Dursley are quite pretty, curvy mommies. The kids look like kids - it's hard to say anything more about them. I've heard that the casting for this show is supposedly gigantic (which doesn't surprise me, if the child is lucky then, it could be set for life) and they've gone through a few THOUSAND actors.

Kevin Costner has been accused of forcing a young actress to perform a scene of an alleged brutal rape. Both sides are defending themselves and both sides have a valid defense. Initially, I was counting on the actress's truthfulness, knowing the approach of old Hollywood (several actors from the generation of Costner, Ford, Sly still live in the "good old days, when no one cared about things like work comfort & feelings), but then I read that the actress and her lawyer are doing it not for the first time. It may be deliberate cherry picking on Costner's part, or maybe not. The court will decide.
Anyway, this is a new case, it's not some aftermath of Me2.

Poznaliśmy aktorów, którzy wcielą się w 3 dzieci oraz część pozostałych aktorów. Obejrzałem tych, których zapamiętałem z książki - Molly Weasley, Dursleyowie, Lavender Brown, rodzinę Malfoyów. Generalnie wyglądają ok. Tym bardziej dziwi mnie decyzja, by obsadzić Czarnoskórym rolę Snape'a. Wiem, że to aktorstwo, wiem że Papa Essiedu to dobry aktor, ale to jest jedna z tych postaci, które wybitnie nie nadają się do zmiany koloru skóry. Blada skóra, tłuste włosy, obraz Snape'a wdrukowany do mojej głowy, jaki sobie wytworzyłem CZYTAJĄC OPIS Z KSIĄŻKI. To bynajmniej nie rasizm. Po prostu wizerunek Snape'a jest zbyt mocno ugruntowany w naszej świadomości, a HP to nie jest jakaś niszowa franczyza lub sztuka w teatrze.
Malfoy ma "skurwysyńskie" oczy, pasuje do młodocianego rasisty. Jego ojciec nie jest tak dobrze dopasowany, jak w starym filmie, ale jest to postać na tyle epizodyczna, że machnąłem na to ręką. Molly i Ciocia Dursley to całkiem ładne, mamuśki z krągłościami. Dzieciaki wyglądają jak to dzieciaki - trudno coś więcej o nich pisać. Słyszałem, że podobno casting do tego serialu jest gigantyczny (co mnie nie dziwi, jak dziecko będzie miało wtedy szczęście, to może być ustawione na całe życie) i przemielili kilka TYSIĘCY aktorów.

Kevin Costner został oskarżony o zmuszenie młodej aktorki do odegrania sceny podobno brutalnego gwałtu. Obie strony bronią się i obie strony mają zasadną linię obrony. Początkowo stawiałem na prawdomówność aktorki, znając podejście starego Hollywoodu (kilku aktorów z pokolenia Costnera, Forda, Sly'a nadal żyje "starymi, dobrymi czasami, gdy nikt nie przejmował się takimi rzeczami, jak komfort pracy & uczucia), ale potem doczytałem, że aktorka i jej prawnik robią to już nie pierwszy raz. Może to być celowy cherry picking ze strony Costnera, a może nie. Zdecyduje o tym sąd.
Jakby co, chodzi o nową sprawę, to nie jest jakieś pokłosie Me2.
