How to Train Your Dragon
Last Friday I seen this film with my best friend in the cinema馃ぉ was great. It's about the 3D cartoon series: Dragons Riders of Berk, and being a remake of the original film (2010). The most of live action characters are very similar, including the protagonist Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III (played by Mason Thames). Looks like the characteristic between Scooby Doo cartoon series and live action movie.
This film is a prequel to the animated series, set in a time when humans and dragons were at war. Dragons attacked the village of Berk, led by Chief Stoick, Hiccup's father, seeking revenge for the hunting of their kind. Hiccup, the weakling of the village, prevented him from participating in it, looking for a way to participate, he sees Night Fury (who names Toothless shortly after) uses a ballista, shoots a ball at him, but since no one saw it, they don't believe him. After fleeing hiding from a dragon that burned a log, it ends up falling into a house causing the debris to fall on a net on a captured dragon, freeing it and fleeing.
Following this, the father berates his son for his reckless behavior, criticizing his neurotic tendencies and lack of natural strength compared to the other villagers. The son retorts that his father never gave him a chance to fight and prove himself. This prompts the father to send his son to dragon hunting school, where he'll train alongside other beginners, all hoping to impress Astrid, the beautiful and skilled top student.
The following day, Hiccup go to the forest (where he had seen the Night Fury go after shooting it) planning to kill the dragon. But upon finding the creature defenseless and trapped under the fallen trees, he freed it. The dragon, still poised to attack, ultimately chose to escape.
After failing in his first class trying to trap a captured dragon; the dragon almost ate him! His teacher had to step in and, though unhappy about it, told him he wasn't suited for dragon-handling and needed more practice. After school, he went back to the forest and found Toothless again in a cave. Toothless was struggling to fly because his tail fin was gone (lost when the cannonball hit him). Back home, Hiccup builds a harness and a prosthetic fin so he can fly properly, and that's how they become friends.
During his experience with Toothless, Hiccup learned how Toothless behaved, figuring out his strong and weak points. He then used this knowledge, assuming other dragons were similar, utilizing and applying them in his later training sessions. impressing his classmates.
Several times, Astrid, watching Hiccup getting in the forset, she begins to suspect him until follow him. As night fell, Stoick, Hiccup's dad, told he'd been seen the forest and assumed his son was training for his classes and felt proud, but Hiccup misunderstood, thinking his dad knew he was making friend with a dragon, after they talked for a while about living with dragons.
A few days of Hiccups Final Exam, he knew that he have to kill a dragon in this test. He and Toothless dealed to hide and go away, then Astrid comes and watched them living. Thanks to Hiccup, Astrid became confident that humans and dragons could coexist. Toothless was called by a great dragon, the pack's leader, flying with Hiccup and Astrid to the nest, both discovering it. Knowing this, Astrid wants to warn the whole village, but Hiccup points out that Toothless might be in danger if she does.
During the exam, in the classroom, he was about to face a dragon named Monstrous Nightmare. But when his father and the other tournament watchers saw the boy wasn't trying to fight, the father flew into a rage, stopping the fight and provoking the dragon. As the red dragon terrorized the audience and attempted to devour Hiccup, Toothless, the Night Fury, burst into the coliseum to defend the boy and confront the dragon. Once Toothless had secured the dragon in its cell, dragon hunters arrived to capture him.
After this, Hiccup and his father argue. His father, deeply disappointed, disowns Hiccup for befriending a dragon, calling it a cultural enemy and that violates village law and tradition. Hiccup's stubborn insistence forces his father to reveal the dragon's nest exact location. With Toothless captured, the father and the other skilled Vikings sailed to the dragon's nest, forcing him to lead them there.
While Stoick and the most of Berk villagers were traveling, Hiccup and his classmates were speaking about go to the nest with the training dragons, Hiccup teaching them how to dome it. Then, the vikings has arrived to the nest island and start to fight with the great dragon. The great dragon, Red Death, being powerful and indestructible, destroys several ships (transports that use to arrived). Hiccup and company has arrived flying with to fight the great dragon, who breathed fire on the ship with Toothless captured, he felt in water. Hiccups seen it, he went to swim to rescue him trying to break the chains, At this moment, his father pulls him out of the water so he won't drown, going in his place to free the dragon, being free and he coming out of the water too.
Hiccup and Toothless fighting and defeating the dragon discovering it weak point and falling on ground, exploding. The boy felt, falling in the explosion, Toothless rescue him preventing he dies. The next scene, shows Hiccup lying in his bed of his house with Toothless in too. And it's revealed he lost his left foot with wearing prosthesis (This is what the character looks like at the animated series). go out and sees dragons living peacefully in the village. Hiccup is admired by the villagers, prouded by his dad, and beginning a relationship with Astrid.
This entire series, stands out some characters are dismembered in some body part, for example, the hunting dragon instructor, Gobber.

C贸mo entrenar a tu drag贸n
