Alarum is an amazing action movie which I never thought will be this interesting because of the title. Actually from the start and even before I opened the movie, I was thinking it was just a random nollywood movie but then, I was wrong, and the movie is typically an action packed movie. This is a movie all the movie lovers really need to see because it explores the life of two cop fighters who got their cabin attacked, and they really need to fight to ensure the hostages are kept safe also to safe the hard drive from being stolen from different agencies that have been trying their luck to get this device.
Alarum is the latest movie that was released in year on January 17, 2025. It's an American action crime movie that was directed by Michael Polish. This movie won't have been a great one without the help of some great starts that were present in the movie like Scott Eastwood as Agent Joe Travers, Sylvester Stallone as Agent Chester, Willa Fitzgerald as Agent Laura, Mike Colter as Orlin, Ísis Valverde as Bridgette, and D. W. Moffett as Director Burbridge and many others.
Agent Joe Travers, Agent Chester, Agent Laura, these 3 guys really did so well in making the movie worth watching. I love the fact that they have to go extra length to make sure they defend their territory and fight against their enemies. Actually, if we were to bring this to reality, we would understand that being a special agent comes with a lot of full responsibilities which one have to carry out to keep him or herself safe from enemies. Agent Laura on the other girl performed her role so well as she was able to pry into the midst of the enemies that invaded the cabin in search of the hard drive and tried killing almost all of them even before the arrival of agent Chester and Agent Joe. This is indeed a real deal movie.
What I love about the movie.
- I love the whole acting in the movie
- I love how the strong performance from the actors especially Agent Joe Travers, Agent Chester, Agent Laura. They are the real deal.
What I don't really like about the movie.
- I don't like the fact that Agent Chester didn't really appear so much in the movie when he was part of the main actors.
- The story is really hard to follow and understand if you don't focus or pay attention from the beginning of the movie.
If I am to rate this movie, I would rate it 4/5 because it catches my attention so much even with the fact that I was not really stabled while I was watching it, I was still able to listen to it and understand what the movie was all about. I give kudos to the director for that.
In Conclusion
Based on my experience with the movie, overall, I think it's a great movie. But actually I saw that some do not really like the movie as such but the person who recommended this movie to me give me a good review on it and that was what triggered me to watch it also. What I see from this is that, one really need to give this movie a full attention if you really want to enjoy it because the start of the movie can be so boring if you don't focus on it. I have seen some movies like this which I won't like, and my friend will enjoy watching, so much. That's why we all have different ideas and approach to things because we cannot like things equally. In all, I recommend this movie for the action movie lovers and I hope to see a review on it soon from more people.
