Hello movie lovers,
Trust your have a great day and week ahead. This week, I seem to have quite a lot of time on my hands and I’m trying to use that time to release stress by seeing some movies I’ve kept away for so long due to my busy schedules.
Today, I didn’t want to see any series which would probably take me days to complete. I just wanted sometimes I would be done with in less than two hours and still enjoy it and this movie I saw just did it for me.
If you love action and sci-fi movies, this is for you. Why because this movie talks about time travel and the whole concept behind it. For a minute, I actually thought time travel could possibly be true but then again, I remembered it was just a movie.
The whole story starts with Adam Reed, a boy of 12 years with a sharp mouth getting bullied by his mates. Adam was 12 years but he really didn’t look like his age and this made him a victim of bullying in school. On this day, news of his fight with the guys who bully him in school got to the principal and they all ended up getting suspended for sometimes.
About a year and a half ago, Adam lost his dad to a fatal car accident which left just him and his mom who was also a full time worker. His mom thought he hated her because of his dads death when really, he didn’t. He only just happened to have a sharp mouth.
On his days on suspension, something weird happens at home while Adams mom was out on a date with one Derek.
In another time zone, senior Adams from 2050 happened to get into a not so good situation with his superior, Maya as he tries to go back in time to 2018 to find his wife, Laura who was reported to have lost her life on a mission traveling in time. On this unapproved mission, Senior Adam, senior Adam mistakenly time travels to 2022 and someway somehow lands in his old home where his 12 years old self was and serving his suspension.
While out there, he manages to get his younger self in line with him to help him but unfortunately, they get attached by Maya and her troupes. During that period, Senior Adams wife, Laura came out of nowhere to save her lover from a battle his was losing. After saving their lives, senior and junior Adam were set on a mission to travel back in time to meet their father who happened to be the brain behind fine travel and this mission was to put a stop to the whole concept of time travel to prevent the chaos happening in the future.
However, Senior Adam believes that if they should manage to pull that off, that would mean that he and his wife Laura would never meet in college and become lovers. But Laura on the other hand believes that they would always find each other no matter what happens. Would senior and junior Adam be successful on this mission and would Laura and Senior Adam make it back together after all that? You’d have to find out.
I’d rate this show an 8/10 because generally , it was great but just not the kind of movie I’d like to see on a normal day.
What kept me stuck to this movie is the characters who played Senior and junior Adam. I mean, everything was just on point and they made the whole movie fun.
If you have about an hour and a half to spare, you should probably see this movie.
