First of all I would like to apologize for my lack of participation in this wonderful community. I've just been oversaturated with school and stuff that it's been quite hard for me to find time to watch a film and participate in the challenges.
This Cinetv Challenge really pushed me to find out more about the movie legend Tom Hanks. Shocking isn't it that the only shows I've watched that he's starred in is the Toy Story franchise and Elvis.
Well yesterday I went searching for an easy to watch Tom Hanks film and I stumbled upon a Disney Wonder.

In an Italian village, the wooden puppet Pinocchio is brought to life by the Blue Fairy and seeks the life of adventure while striving to be a real boy. Pinocchio's life is turned upside down when he leaves his father to follow the circus.-Source
Now this isn't a new story. The story of Pinocchio is one lovely story that's been told and retold so many times that's it's now a part of so many kids and parents lives.
It's a story that teaches children about values and the concept of honesty. It's truly a wonderful piece and I was glad to see it in a newer animation and brighter color in this remake.
Another good thing about this story is the characters and one character that did stand out is Geppetto played by Tom Hanks..

Geppetto is a woodcarver , and the father of Pinocchio. He's a very emotionally filled character that is really the backbone of this story with his showing of unconditional love for his son and forgiveness when he went astray.
As mentioned above this character was played by Tom and I think he played it flawlessly. One could truly feel all the emotions from him, the love when Pinocchio was brought alive, the distraught when he went missing and the joy when he came back.
Indeed it was really heartwarming to see an OG of action play such a delicate role. It really goes to show how versatile one must be before you become a legend like Tomπ
