The Ark has become one of my expected Tv Series every Wednesday, sometimes I don't watch it on time like this week, Im a bit behind Ark too, but there is so much I can cover in one day, depending on how busy or tire I could from work or other things at home the most I can write is two articles on a good day so sometimes I don't catch to write articles the same day an episode air, this week is the example for both The Ark and The Mandalorian.
Its been 7 episodes already of a series I though had no future but everything on it has improve a lot, from fixing their engine, finding water in space, identifying a murder on board to now finding out about a secret room who has William Trust, the creator of the Ark, a second Ark 15 has been identify as the agresor who hit them at first and got killed most of their crew now it seems another Ark suffer the same attack and probably worst. Ark 1 is getting ready to on board Ark 3 and find out why their ship is not moving or responding at all.

After identifying the damage on their ship they can now confirm its the same weapon that hit them first. There are a few situations between the crew members on Ark 1 that can become influence in the future, things between Eva and Brice are getting more than personal, it looks like they are developing some sort of love/hate relationship that in the end make them care for each other, same for Angus and Alicia but this last two are going way slower, I can understand that been on a ship in space for many months with the same people at some point part of the crew can develop feelings for each other.
Sharon gather a team and send it to explore Ark 3, they already know the external damage of the ship but got no idea what happen to the crew, when they enter Ark 3 air was good but only red lights are on and every where they look at their are dead bodies, most die suffocated, this could only mean that some one shut down the ventilation system cutting the oxygen and killing the entire crew at once, had to be some one with clearance on the system or probably stolen credentials.
There still some one on board, this person is trying to lock them up remotely, lucky Eva have learn how to by pass the locks.
They start to identify the bodies of the personal on Ark 3, its very estrange because none of them were suppose to be there, plans change fast after Ark 1 left, for me it was obvious, when Ark 1 left the planet was very bad and was deteriorating at a quick pace.
They continue to explore the ship and Lt Lane find a body that was stab, meaning not all die from suffocating, the hunt starts to find out who stab this person because he/she is probably alive and arm.
Lane finds the survivor after she try to attack him, Kelly, but she was not alone, had a "friend" who is hurt badly, Lane tries to get as much information out of her but she looks nervous and only told him they got hit and then they lost atmosphere. Since the moment I saw Kelly it felt like a trojan horse trap. She says there are other survivors trying to kill her but then they are all dead and the only survivor besides her is hurt so bad that dies when Dr Kabir tries to operate. The way Kelly look at people and how she behaves is very estrange and mysterious, it look like she is hiding something.
The entire crew on Ark 1 had a lot of questions because Ark 3 was not suppose to be there, also some how their ship is more advance, can travel faster than light speed and still everyone is dead after another ship attack them, most of the bodies who were identify were not suppose to be on Ark 3 according to the main plan, this includes Felix husband who die on ARK 3 and brakes his heart.
Is this moment when Kelly took advantage of who bad Felix was feeling, Sharon orders the crew to take every provision on ARK 3 and bring it to them, food, fuel, weapons and Felix is the one in charge of security on board, Kelly lie to Felix at saying his daughter die from a lost bullet to distract him, confuse him and then convince him of throwing out the guns, while she kept one without Felix knowing.
Kelly is very manipulative, we still have to find out what she pretend to do with that gun and what really happen on ARK 3, why and how she was the only survivor, there are so many questions and Sharon is taking it easy on her, already trusting her to send her back to ARK 3 and gather supplies with Felix. I would lock her down until figure out the truth.
When they were trying to retrieve the fuel and the device that would aloud them to travel at FTL speed (Faster Than Light) Eva by mistake activate the auto destruction mechanism of the ship, it requires a code to deactivate. Lt Lane who at the moment is the only one who knew about the secret room where William Trust is, sees himself force to wake him up and get the code from him to avoid both ARK to blow up in pieces.
This episode had very little action but I enjoy it, the mystery of what they will find in ARK 3, food, fuel, survivors, they could fix their ARK with parts from ARK 3 and even ended up upgrading their ship because now they will be able to travel faster.
It was also more about the relationship of each character, like Evan and Brice getting in love, Sharon for sure probably wont trust Lane anymore at least for a few episodes and who knows what Trust has to say, the man wakes up and doesnt remember how he got there. As I mention before The Ark turn out to be a very entertaining series that I will keep watching, I still have five more episodes to watch and I hope there is a season two, they cant leave people hanging and hope they dont crunch things just to close the story.
