There are so many Sci-Fi TV shows i like that i do not know where to start.
X-Files(best of the best), Star Trek:The Next Generation, Battlestar Galactica,The Expanse,Dark to name a few but i will write about the series called 'The Outer Limits'.
The reason is (together with the X-Files) that i recall as a teenager i could not miss the episode every single week. The tv was mine for that hour. Always. We had big fights with my sister.
It started in 1995 and lasted for 7 seasons. It was a remake of 1963s 'The Outer Limits'.
Every episode was standalone or no more than a two-part and had different characters. It came out almost the same time with the X-Files but it was not so famous. I think.
The intro of the series was very unique. A deep voice was saying: 'there is nothing wrong with your television, do not attempt to adjust the picture, we are now controlling transmission...' Ok it might sound a little bit ingenuous but remember it was the 90s.
The topics of the series was not only about aliens or space travels but also about god, religion, after life, experiments and philosophical maters. Some episodes were in different times, in the past or in the future. I still remember many episodes even after all these years. I can't forget the one with the ants. Of course there were also some bad episodes. It was fine because every week you didn't know what to expect. Every episode was unusual. That was the magic.
I think people of my age will be familiar with 'The Outer Limits'
Thank you for your attention
