Well hello educators out there around the world, giving your all every day to teach young minds the best that they can be- to themselves and the world.
I hope that you're all well and conquering the daily struggles of the educational sector- and every country- almost, has them, regardless of whether the country is western, eastern, established or developing, for some reason, the education systems are always lacking in support- especially financial.
I post this into the education community, because although I am not an official teacher by any means, I have a passion for education, both for self learning and sharing my experiences to other to learn from.
And this post is about both as I have had multiple deep educational dives over the past 6 months learning to self publish, (Did I happen to mention that I've published 2 educational children's books...?) learning how to utilise AI to my advantage and learning how to build a website using my own #photoshop skills -which area also improving dramatically to build a website with AI- Chat gpt infact- or Cassie as she wants me to call her.
But my passion for #education didn't start there. It started many, many years beforehand- decades infact, but there was a certain turning point in 2010 that started me off on an educational adventure and that was by creating and fully developing 5 non-fiction, educational series destined for global broadcast and for the past 15years, I have been focused on getting those series in production and on-air, pitching them at every domestic Australian and international film and TV conference and as much as everyone "LOVES them" no-one want to take a gamble and invest their time and money- for so many "reasons".

So mid last year, after being promised that one of my series was going to finally get funded and broadcast over here, then facing 2 months worth of ghosting from the head honcho of empty promises, then the crushing blow in the form of a 1 line email, I thought that's it, I've had enough time wasting, I've had enough of the soul crushing, supercillious smiles and decided that I needed to redefine my goal and redirect my focus to achieve the same goals, in a different format.
Do I sound bitter... jaded...tired..? You bet I am, but I am still determined and their empty smiles have galvanised me even further to succeed, and so here I am, using all of the footage and photos that I have recorded over the years, my own writing skills, learning how to self publish, learning how to better use photoshop, learning how to use AI to help me build my website, so I can finally get my series' broadcast - in #BOOKS! AND educational books for children and adults to boot!
So here we are and I would like to introduce you to my new, basic website, though I'm having a few tech issues and have not quite managed to get the complete site online yet, but these are the pages of it below.
The following pages are supposed to be in a #flipbook format and many of the elements will eventually be animated, such as the fireplace will be crackling, the bees will be hovering, the pages will turn with a "whoosh" sound, there will sparkling dust motes sprinkling in their air.
The links will be clickable and the green tree snake will say “Skip back to the start, and follow your heart!” before taking the user back to the Table of Contents page.
