A round ball is grass that is made into hay and becomes fodder for the animals. We are making round balls in several farms. The invention was spreading itself to several places in Europe, and it also came to Norway. A round ball can be sold to the places where people are forming the markets, and therefore we need quality in the grass, and when having competence and credibility among the sellers, the grass can be sold to any places in the world with the need for giving the animals food when they need food. The round ball is a rational and easy, but expensive method for conserving and storing animal feeding, and animals like horses, cows, mooses and deers are eating this feeding. The round balls are pressed in round balers, and the balls are packed in in plastic to preserve the grass (silage). They are found in different sizes, but they are usually around 1,2 meter in diameter and in width. And they are efficient, effective and good ways to give feed to the animals.
We are finding round balls several places in different countries, and they are good ways to collect the feed to the animals. We have used several years to discover and to use the idea of the round balls, and the first hay baling equipment was invented in the late 1800s. This made the start of the round balls. And although these collections of grass was the very start to the round balls, and Gary Vermeer is credited with inventing the first round hay baler in the early 1970s. We saw the the introduction of small round rotobaler just after the second world war. And these two persons came from the United States, and this marked the start of the round balls that we have seen in several countries in the world so far. And the idea was making collections of grass to being able and capable of giving the animals to eat. It is about assembly, welding and finishing. And we need marketing competence in many ways to do the logistics that are required for delivering these products, and for making the equipment that should be used for making the hay balers.
Today, people having animals are asking about and constituting the demand after the round balls. And these products are sold to different segments that are reachable, profitable, large enough and for good enough purposes. And people around the world see these things, and if they want something to eat for their animals, they are making orders, and there are deliveries of them.
So, how is the hay balers really made? Farmers cut hay in the field out there, and they let it dry for several days in the sun. This produced the bales. So, when driving around with your car or vehicle, you see these balls around on the fields, and people are earning money on selling these feedings to the animals that want these things and are eating them to survive in life.
