You know, you are using your body in relation to what you want with it, and why we are making tattoos on the body, and other people are doing that for us. And some of us have some dreams about using it, and some are just trying to come closer to the reality!
Greek written records of tattooing date back to at least the 5th-century BCE. The ancient Greeks and Romans used tattooing to penalize slaves, criminals, and prisoners of war. While known, decorative tattooing was looked down upon and religious tattooing was mainly practiced in Egypt and Syria.
"Tattoos have probably been important to people for over 10,000 years," people have said to many times. The oldest documented tattoos belong to Otzi the Iceman, whose preserved body was discovered in the Alps between Austria and Italy in 1991.
Peer pressure, media influence, and personal expression are some of the common reasons for wearing tattoos today. The desire to be part of a group, to be accepted by one's friends or peers, can have a great influence on what a person does. Sometimes, wearing a tattoo can be a sign that you belong to a certain group. So, tattoos are used because of your job, and what is common on your workplace, and we should also use the tattoos to have influence in media and in society, and you want to express something with yourself when using these tattoos.
When tattoos first emerged in the 1800s, they were considered a sign of being a criminal or deviant. Today, they are increasingly commonplace. According to one estimate, 38 percent of adults between the ages of 18 and 29 have at least one tattoo. Therefore, tattoos are used to signal something with yourself, and tattoos are used as telling something with you, and they are common and used in many places, and we want to signal different things, and saying whom we are. And many people have not any competence on these, but there are also people knowing much about tattoos.
What are the psychological reasons behind using tattoos? They are really strong, and something that have functions and meanings behind the tattoos. We have found that individuals with tattoos report that they feel more attractive, stronger and more self-confident—having overcome the fear of pain. For some, tattoos seem to go deeper than just underneath the skin, creating a deep personal change, which makes him or her mentally stronger. Many people in sales have tattoos, and the reasons are that they need to create attraction, trust and being strong in your head!
Tattooing involves the placement of pigment into the skin's dermis, the layer of dermal tissue underlying the epidermis. And sometimes there are operations behind placing the tattoos on your body, and sometimes you can just paint them easily on the body.
Physical alteration, such as a tattoo or piercing, is referred to as body modification, which is a broad category that includes just about any alteration that a person makes to their body. These alterations can be small, like pierced ears, or more dramatic modifications, such as a stretched neck or branded skin.
What are the functions with the tattoos? Many tattoos serve as rites of passage, marks of status and rank, symbols of religious and spiritual devotion, decorations for bravery, sexual lures and marks of fertility, pledges of love, amulets and talismans, protection, and as punishment, like the marks of outcasts, slaves and convicts.
