First of all I want to give a big greeting to all the friends of hive and especially to the members of this prestigious community such as education. Today I want to share with all of you this post about information and communication technology (ict) as a strategy to improve the teaching and learning process.
Today's society develops within the context of digitalism, an expression that emerges as a result of information and communication technologies (ICT), which have a direct impact on society and culture because they penetrate all areas of human life, especially in formal education or in all areas of knowledge.
Therefore, educating in ICTs requires more than just connecting to the network; a set of didactic, pedagogical, economic, political and cultural conditions must be in place so that they can serve as an instrument and not be perceived as an end in themselves..
Such conditions should not only focus on the external framework of learning, but also refer to presuppositions that must be met by the subject himself in order for his own learning to be fruitful, which requires a new way of teaching that generates changes in educational practices, all with the aim of turning computer networks into didactic tools for meaningful learning in them and with respect to them.

All of this means that changes in school organization, in the methodology of the teaching-learning process, in the design of the curriculum and in teacher training are unavoidable, since it is necessary to develop skills to decide what to look for, how to process it and how to use it.
Within this context, we find the teaching-learning process of all subjects, which requires a restructuring under the ICT approach, where the teacher must develop strategies that allow students to obtain significant knowledge that they can use when they need it.
In such a way that education as an internal and personal process, directed in an intentional way and influenced by the environment, cannot be separated from technological development, since the processes of culturization are mostly assumed by the educational institutions in conjunction with the family, which plays a preponderant role in this process.
Hence, currently in Venezuela, it is sought to reduce the gap between education and technology, since the structures in teaching and learning methods persist over time without any alteration, so it has been introduced in educational programs Information Technology and Communication in the classroom (ICT), which requires mainly the teacher to adapt their academic strategies that allow the proper and effective use of these in the teaching and learning process.
