The Dangers of Time Travel - Why You Should Not Do It

Sometimes, when I am up late at night, and I see an out-of-place person walking the streets, or have Dajvue, or perhaps just drifting in and out of a dream like either, in all these moments, I tend to think of time travel.
If you’ve watched the show Dr. Who, you’ve seen the dangers of time travel. In the show, time travelers are chased by Daleks, monsters that hunt by time traveling and worse. If you go back in time, you can’t change the past. The only thing you can change is the future.
Everyone knows that going back in time could alter the present. But why? Time travel deals with the laws of causality. It’s the idea that events in the present can’t be changed by an action taken in the past.
Everything happens for a reason. That's one of the laws of causality. It's also one of the laws of the universe. And it's one of the laws of life. Everything happens for a reason. There are no coincidences. There are no accidents. There is only cause and effect. Every action has a reaction. Every choice has a consequence. Everything happens for a reason.
For example, if you go back in time, you won’t be able to stop the clock. You won’t be able to change the past. So what does this mean for you? If you’re thinking about embarking on a time traveling jaunt to pick up some BTC 6 years ago, or go riding a t-rex's, here are some of the dangers you should be aware of.
You Can’t Change the Past
This is the first thing you’ll learn when you consider time travel. The past is written in stone.
If you go back in time and kill your great-grandfather to stop him from murdering your grandfather, the murder will still happen. You can’t change the past.
You can't change the past, no matter how much you might want to. That's the deal with time travel. You can go back and visit your favorite moments, or go back and fix your mistakes, but it's all for show. The past is set in stone and you can't change a thing, as you have already changed it and that is why you are their.
You can't change the past when you time travel- it will still happen. Even if you go back in time and try to warn people about what's going to happen, they won't listen. Trust me, I've tried. (#Pompeii)
You Could Cause An Infinite Loop
In the best of all possible worlds, you’d go back in time, learn from your mistakes, and become a better person. You’d make everyone in the past happy and make the future a better place.
But the world is not a perfect place. You might go back in time, learn from your mistakes, and become a much worse person. You could go back and change history to make the future a much worse place.
If you're not careful, time traveling can cause you to create an infinite loop. Basically, this means that you could get stuck in a never-ending loop of cause and effect. For example, let's say you travel back in time and prevent your grandparents from meeting. This would cause you to never be born, which would then prevent you from traveling back in time in the first place. And so on, and so on.
You Could Ruin Your Life
You might try to prevent bad things from happening to yourself by going back in time.
But what if you’re that person you’re trying to prevent from happening?
Do you want to change the course of your life?
If you want to prevent your great-grandfather from murdering your grandfather, but you might be the man who murders him, it doesn’t work out too well.
If you want to prevent yourself from becoming a criminal, but you’re the one who goes criminal, it doesn’t work out too well for you either.
Time traveling may seem like a fun and harmless way to explore the past or future, but it can actually be very dangerous. If you're not careful, you could easily ruin your life (or someone else's - buts its not like they would even know). You could end up in a completely different timeline than the one you originally came from. This could mean that your loved ones no longer exist, or that the world is unrecognizable. You could also cause a ripple effect that alters history in ways you can't even imagine
You Wouldn’t Be Able To Communicate With People From The Past
When you time travel, you will be able to go back and see some of the most famous historical moments. But you wouldn't be able to communicate with people from the past. They would think you were a crazy person if you tried to talk to them (*The kings English, WTF). It would be pretty funny to watch though.
For real, You'd be stuck trying to figure out how to use ancient technology or trying to learn an old language. Even if you could manage to find a way to communicate, you'd need to understand their history and slang. So, before you decide to time travel, make sure you're prepared to go back to a time when communication was... a lot less advanced (*What no '0') .
Conclusion
You might think about time traveling because you want to do something cool or because you’re curious about the future. Hell, I know I am too!
The truth is, there are consequences to time traveling, and they aren’t worth it (*at least in my option). You’re probably not going to change the present and future very much. You’re just going to ruin your life and get eaten by some time hunting beast.
So why bother? You risk your life and ruin your future. You miss out on life. And you can’t talk to aliens from the past.
If you want to experience the future, travel to the future. If you want to see how the past influenced the present, travel back in time. The present however is just fiction. Lol. :P
