Tardigrade are one of the popular organisms that are often taught in school during the biology lectures. Take an example of zoology class where they are being taught on how they survive extreme temperature and they happen to survive in some of the odd places.

Let's take a look at some of the facts about the tardigrade.
Surviving Extreme Places
Tardigrades are known to survive some of the odd places like volcano, extreme colds on mountains, ice etc. Some of them are also survived the places with low oxygen. So they appear hardy for the survival. And they are known to be in odd survival places.
Easy to Spot and Visibility
Some of the tardigrades sizes are easy to spot and even human eyes can spot them in clear water or water which is suitable for their survival. Like you can find some larger sized with naked eye easily. Some of the micro sized however you have to spot with the compound micro size and that would be easier for small size ones with variety. Yet the 8 legged common sized is easy to spot.
Survival without Food
There are some of the references here about how tardigrades can survive in space and stay long enough alive for decades. This shows they are pretty hardy on surviving the harsh environment. And they continue to struggle for survival.
Do you know tardigrades are known to live in the marine, freshwater and even the terestrial space and they happen to have 1000 or more species categorized under their type? Tardigrades are worth exploring and learn from at school.
