Happy first day of the month, and Happy Power Up Day to all our friends here on Hive 🐝!
While some of you might associate this month with the song "Wake me up when September ends.." 🎶, here in the Philippines, it marks the start of the Christmas season. We can relate more to Mariah Carey’s "All I want for Christmas isSss yoOooOu!". Hays, I can already hear shopping malls and other establishments playing this Christmas classic, haha.
Meanwhile, here on Hive, the first day of the month means it's Hive Power Up Day! It’s been a while since I last participated in this monthly event. Actually, I participated last month but forgot to share it. Now, I’m glad to be participating again.
For this month, I’m proud to have powered up 33.946 HIVE 🥳. This is the HIVE I’ve been scalping over the past few weeks. Since I’ve been busy lately and didn't have the chance to earn more HIVE to stake today, I decided to use the funds I had set aside from scalping to power up.
It may not seem like much to some, but I’m happy that I’m slowly building my account again. Take a look at the analytics below—my account has been consistently growing for several months now.
However, I hope to continue increasing my Hive Power in the coming months despite the challenges of a tight college schedule. I expect my interactions and postings to decrease significantly as I focus on my studies. This week, we found out that we need to build three systems and complete a research paper—all of which must be finished before the semester ends. As the project leader for all these projects, I'm hoping to guide my team to success.
On the other hand, I’m still grateful for the good life I’ve had over the past few months. When I say, 'good life,' I’m referring to my physical, emotional, and mental health, a strong relationship with my family, friends, and significant other, the challenges I’ve overcome, and a stable financial situation.
Unlike before, I now seldom get seriously ill, and if I do, it usually clears up within a week or two. I also feel more confident in my body—sometimes I even feel attractive and hot, LOL. I’ve noticed that stress and negative thoughts don’t affect me as much anymore; I can finally fight them off and shrug them away.
In terms of relationships, I can talk to my family more freely without feeling anxious. The same goes for my friends—I think we’ve developed deeper bonds with each other. And as for Denn and me, we’re doing great, still enjoying our quiet life together, haha.
I’m also grateful for the challenges I’ve faced, as I know problems are inevitable in life and make you stronger. I’m thankful that I’ve been able to overcome them.
Lastly, I’m thankful for the steady cash flow into my wallet. It has allowed me to support my personal needs and wants, and I’m happy that I still have some savings left to buy an Arduino board for our project.
I’m excited to see what the rest of the month brings, both on Hive and in life. I’m manifesting good days and weeks ahead. May we achieve our goals and overcome the battles we’re facing. Have a great day, everyone!
