Hello Hivers!

We are the Hive Music Video Foundation - HMVF for short. After @solymi, @ravenmus1c, @indiebandguru, @tibfox and @slothlydoesit! 😊 As we are all busy with our own projects and still need to earn our money with a "normal" job, we are happy to get another helping hand, so join us if you like! We are open for: musicians, songwriters film makers, dancers, and anyone who wants to be involved in the production of an HIVE based music video. Don't be shy! Reach out to us!

Today is Hive Power-up day! Happy #hpud everyone!

Celebrating HIVE power up day or #HPUD

$ For the 6th or 7th? time in a row we are celebrating HPUD with you all! Actually, solymi has forgotten to update this number so here we have it.
According to @hivebuzz we have celebrated HPUD this year for 5 times already and now power up for the 6th time!

You can participate in the power-up day on HIVE by powering up at least 10 HIVE at the first of the month. You can earn cool badges and also help grow the distribution of our HIVE.

Our last power up took us to 505 HP in total. This image shows our HP after last months power up.

Unfortunately we only managed to publish one interview meaning we might need a little help to power up 10 HIVE.

And now back to after our powerup:

Currently our wallet looks shy of 6 HIVE missing for the HPUD of today.

But what is most important is that we could again significantly raise our HP through curation and our 1 interview to a total of 635HP. This would not be possible without the generous delegation by @balte Thank you so much!

power up!

Thanks to Solymi for the missing 6 HIVE we powered up a little over 10 HIVE and now stand proud with 646 HP if our own. Meaning we can again raise our delegations to the curation projects of curangel and ecency.

We have increased our delegation to ecency to match the one of curangel and next month we will increase DIY hub to 150 as well. The drips of liquid hive coming in are small but they add up over time and it is a great way to earn a little passive income.

Why we power up HP

We want to contribute to the stability of the HIVE blockchain and show our commitment towards the long-term view on HIVE. Since we are not planning to disappear in 3 months and we want to grow our account so we later have a bigger power when it comes to voting.
Our long term goal is to have a self sufficient way of helping film makers and musicians to create their own HIVE funded music videos. Having more power is a small step towards this goal, and we will not stop powering up our liquid HIVE.

What is our project about?

We wan't to connect video producers and musicians so they can collaborate on their own music video projects. The foundations greatest goal is to produce music videos of high quality helping both sides with resources and a bigger exposure.

The Idea started with me (solymi) having no actual showreel material to put in my portfolio. As a film maker and director you need to have a showreel featuring your own projects to have an actual chance to score a paid directors job.

The best way to get showreel material is to shoot it on your own. An easy way is the genre of music videos since they are completely free in their form and you can interconnect many aspects of storytelling. It is also relatively cheap compared to producing short narrative movies.

Hive is full of great artists, film makers, photographers, graphic designers, actors models, dancers etc. There is thousands of possibilities for collaboration. Why not stay in the hive family if possible? If a dancer can be paid in hive to participate in a music video, wouldn't that be awesome?
