Hello Hivers!

We are the Hive Music Video Foundation - HMVF for short. After @solymi, @ravenmus1c, @indiebandguru and @tibfox, please welcome a new member to our team: @slothlydoesit ! 😊 As we are all busy with our own projects and still needing to earn our money with a "normal" job, we are happy to get another helping hand!

Today is Hive Power up day! Happy #hpud everyone!

Celebrating HIVE power up day or #HPUD

On this power up day we did pretty well because we had 13 HIVE to celebrate this awesome initiative powered by @hivebuzz and earn our 2nd badge!
So here we go for the third time powering up 13 HIVE to contribute to the overall growth of the HIVE ecosystem and to strengthen and grow our projects official account.
You can participate in the power up day on HIVE by powering up at least 10 HIVE at the first of the month. You can earn cool badges and also help grow the distribution of our HIVE.

Last month we increased our HP by 13 HIVE and had 216HP



We also earned a bit of HP with our posts about our project. This is an amazing growth for 1 month and we only can hope that this growth can continue for a good while. Of course as we get bigger it will be harder to raise our power by 50% each month.

Why we power up HP

We want to contribute to the stability of the HIVE blockchain and show our commitment towards the long-term view on HIVE. Since we are not planning to disappear in 3 months and we want to grow our account so we later have a bigger power when it comes to voting.
Our long term goal is to have a self sufficient way of helping film makers and musicians to create their own HIVE funded music videos. Having more power is a small step towards this goal, and we will not stop powering up our liquid HIVE.

What is our project about?

We wan't to connect video producers and musicians so they can collaborate on their own music video projects. The foundations greatest goal is to produce music videos of high quality helping both sides with resources and a bigger exposure.

The Idea started with me (solymi) having no actual showreel material to put in my portfolio. As a film maker and director you need to have a showreel featuring your own projects to have an actual chance to score a paid directors job.

The best way to get showreel material is to shoot it on your own. An easy way is the genre of music videos since they are completely free in their form and you can interconnect many aspects of storytelling. It is also relatively cheap compared to producing short narrative movies.

Hive is full of great artists, film makers, photographers, graphic designers, actors models, dancers etc. There is thousands of possibilities for collaboration. Why not stay in the hive family if possible? If a dancer can be paid in hive to participate in a music video, wouldn't that be awesome?
