Saludos amigos. Es primero de mayo, el día en que la comunidad de HIVE celebra el Power Up, la gran fiesta del ahorro de nuestra comunidad. Para los hivers que tenemos tiempo en la plataforma esta celebración se ha convertido en una tradición que nos une con la intención de hacer más fuerte nuestra casa.
Si algún amigo recién llegado está leyendo estas líneas le recuerdo que desde hace algunos años se creó esta iniciativa con el fin de incentivar el ahorro en nuestra comunidad, un día en el que hacemos un aporte especial con la finalidad de hacer crecer nuestro HP.
Son varias las razones para aumentar nuestros ahorros, la más importante es que podemos disponer de ellos en caso de necesidad, cuando hace falta tener un dinero extra para hacerle frente a un imprevisto. Pero además, en una comunidad como la nuestra un alto HP también nos da mayor visibilidad porque nuestro voto es más fuerte y puede ser visto cada vez que votamos una publicación. Recuerden que cuando el HP está bajo el voto no aparece en las notificaciones y es muy probable que los usuarios no se enteren que votamos por ellos.
Tener un HP alto también nos da más libertad financiera porque nuestros ingresos no dependen del voto de los demás sino que lo generamos nosotros mismos cada vez que votamos un post. Esto a mediano plazo se convierte en una fuente confiable de ingresos.
Cada vez que aumentamos nuestro HP indirectamente estamos contribuyendo a darle más confianza a nuestra casa HIVE, esto es una gran señal para los inversores que ven gente comprometida con este proyecto. A la gente le gusta invertir en proyectos donde se puede sentir el compromiso de los integrantes.
Siempre me gusta recordar que HIVE es nuestra empresa, acá todos somos accionistas; si las cosas van bien en la Blockchain todos nos beneficiamos.
Para participar en el Power Up no hay límites, todos pueden participar en la medida de sus posibilidades, acá todos los aportes son bienvenidos, y te invito a que te sumes a la iniciativa.

Greetings friends. It's May 1st, the day when the HIVE community celebrates Power Up, the great celebration of saving our community. For those of us hivers who have been on the platform for a long time, this celebration has become a tradition that unites us with the intention of making our house stronger.
If any newcomer friend is reading these lines, I remind you that this initiative was created some years ago with the purpose of encouraging savings in our community, a day in which we make a special contribution with the purpose of making our HP grow.
There are several reasons to increase our savings, the most important is that we can use them in case of need, when we need to have extra money to face an unforeseen event. But also, in a community like ours, a high HP also gives us more visibility because our vote is stronger and can be seen every time we vote on a publication. Remember that when the HP is low the vote does not appear in the notifications and it is very likely that users do not know that we voted for them.
Having a high HP also gives us more financial freedom because our income does not depend on the vote of others but we generate it ourselves every time we vote a post. This in the medium term becomes a reliable source of income.
Every time we increase our HP indirectly we are contributing to give more confidence to our HIVE house, this is a great sign for investors who see people committed to this project. People like to invest in projects where they can feel the commitment of the members.
I always like to remember that HIVE is our company, here we are all shareholders; if things go well in the Blockchain we all benefit.
