The days had passed very fast and today another chapter has opened for us. August 1 is finally seen on the calendar and I know the days for this month will pass by in no time again.

I woke up early this morning since this day was scheduled on my calendar a big event for my ongoing career as a writer here. Everybody was talking about it, asking questions regarding the process in this event.
Hive Power Up Day is considered as one of the awaited moment here every start of the month and today I was able to experienced it for the first time since I'm still a newbie wanderer here. My interest was captured the moment they posted this event in our groupchat in discord. Since then I closely monitored all the topics regarding it.
Since Hive is the needed token to do this one I checked my earnings here but sadly it's not enough. Someone said to me that I need to use my HBD to buy some Hive so I followed the instruction. Upon remembering the needed Hive to be eligible for posible prizes, I need atleast 10 of it. To accomplish the thing I bought some Hive with my HBD. My order 5.31 hbd to 10 hive was filled.
I don't know how this works so I asked some clarification and I'm glad they answered my query. When my order was filled I waited the time to start and proceed with the event.
I started my day busy waiting for the time. My father and I has already plans for this day and that was to gather some firewoods in my uncle's place located in the next municipality so I prepared for it.
Before going out I made sure that I powered up already in order for me to just write this one when we go home. So I did it.
After executing it one notification was added and I opened it. It was HiveBuzz congratulating me that I already accomplished the task. My heart was beating furiously just like when I was inloved lol.
Then I checked wallet, tadaa 10.499 Hp was added to my 79 hp. Garnered a total of 90 plus hp. I was happy about it but at the same time I was sad because my previous hp was 79 and the required hp to be eligible for prizes is 100 and above.
Despite that situation I'm in I chose to think the positive one which is the thing that's important is I joined the event in powering up my hive power. If I will win prizes from hiveph then it will be just my bonus hehe. Crossed finger.
I successfully powered up and cheers to everyone who participated.
Still I'm just a writer who is wandering around here building a solid reputation by engaging to all of you if possible. From the start of my stay here I was able to published 14 post so far and commented 118. From the looks of it I need to be more active here and that's my next goal for this month. I was not able to do it from the moment I joined since we we're busy at the farm.
