Hello friends, thank you for being here today on this blog. I hope you're having a lovely day and a great start to August. Today is Hive Power Up Day, and I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to take part—so here we are.
Hola amigos, gracias por estar hoy aquí en este blog. Espero que estén teniendo un muy lindo día y un excelente inicio de agosto. Hoy es el Hive Power Up Day y no quería pasar por alto la oportunidad de participar, así que aquí estamos.
If I’m not mistaken, last month was the first time I took part in Hive Power Up, powering up a minimum amount of HIVE. What I do know is that after that, I set a goal to power up 50 HIVE the next time—and this first of January I exceeded that goal.
Si mal no recuerdo, el mes pasado fue la primera vez que participé en el Hive Power Up haciendo un power up de una cantidad mínima de HIVE. Lo que sí sé es que después de ese me propuse que mi meta para el siguiente Power Up sería de 50 HIVE y este primero de enero cumplí con creces esa cantidad.
I enjoy powering up my Hive for several reasons. Of course, the increase in curation rewards is a plus, but what I enjoy most is giving more weight to my vote and offering better rewards to authors whose posts I love to read—especially photographers and artists whom I believe deserve more recognition. Plus, powering up is a way to help build more committed people on Hive and to keep alive the many communities that engage in conscious manual curation.
Me gusta hacer Power Up de mi Hive por varias razones, y por supuesto que el aumento en las recompensas de curación es un pro. Pero lo que más disfruto es aumentar más el peso de mi voto y dar mejores recompensas a las publicaciones de los autores que más disfruto leer, sobre todo a fotógrafos y artistas que creo necesitan más reconocimiento. I’ve been on Hive for about a year and a few months, and I’ve accumulated a total of 1697.315 HIVE at the time of writing this post—and counting. I can almost proudly say I’ve never done a power down, because my main goal is to keep increasing my HP and have more influence in the network. Also, the vast majority of my HP is delegated to communities and projects I’m involved with in one way or another—because Hive should be about supporting each other. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll be a small dolphin?
