Happy New Year!!! Since it's a Sunday we can probably get away with delaying the start of our New Year goals to Monday, but one that can not be delayed is the first #HivePUD.
¡¡¡Feliz Año Nuevo!!! Como es domingo probablemente podamos salirnos con la nuestra retrasando el comienzo de nuestros propósitos de Año Nuevo al lunes, pero uno que no puede retrasarse es el primer #HivePUD.
I want to participate because it matches other goals I have, Hive-related but also non-Hive-related. I want to start the year fresh, so I'm going to power up all the Hive and send to savings all the HBD. It's not much, because I need to use most of my coins to get by (hence why I don't turn HBD to HIVE to power up the total amount, I need to have easier access just in case).
Quiero participar porque coincide con otros objetivos que tengo, relacionados con Hive pero también ajenos a él. Quiero empezar el año de cero, así que voy a hacer power up a todo el HIVE y a mandar a ahorros todo el HBD. No es mucho, porque necesito usar la mayoría de mis monedas para rebuscarme (de ahí que no convierta HBD en HIVE para hacer power up a todo lo que tengo disponible, necesito tener un acceso más fácil por si acaso).
Even though I can't power up bigger amounts of HIVE (yet) I am committed to Hive, I want to grow here as much as I want to grow in my personal life. One thing you have to do to grow is to invest, whether it be time or money, you need to invest, so I'm doing both, I want to invest time here, developing my knowledge and engaging more, also bettering my content, and investing at least a percentage of my liquid rewards, for the sake of helping the community grow (I delegate most of my HP to communities I know can make better use of those resources than me) and growing wealth for the future, who knows, I'm confident that Hive will keep growing and it is a long run, so I can grow my account slowly but steady.
A pesar de que no puedo hacer power up a mayores cantidades de HIVE (aún) estoy comprometida con Hive, quiero crecer aquí tanto como quiero crecer en mi vida personal. It might not be much of a difference but for me, it is very symbolic of what I'm trying to do here and with my personal goals.
Why powering up? Well, it can be scary to lock your earnings into a 13 weeks-delayed payout system, what if I need it? what if the price goes up? I think about that too, because It's what I have available, but that's the thing with investment, there is more to it than just making more money, is about the long-term results. And frankly, I don't have that much liquidity now to worry about not having it on hand for the near future, but it does help me work towards my goals. I invest in HIVE for my goals inside of the blockchain, and HBD for a mix of the same blockchain goals and my other goals.
Puede que no haya mucha diferencia, pero para mí es muy simbólico de lo que intento hacer aquí y con mis objetivos personales.
¿Por qué hacer power up? Bueno, puede dar miedo bloquear tus ganancias en un sistema de pago aplazado de 13 semanas, ¿y si lo necesito? ¿y si sube el precio? Pienso en eso también, porque es lo que tengo disponible, pero esa es la cosa con la inversión, hay más en ello que hacer más dinero, se trata de los resultados a largo plazo. Y francamente, ahora no tengo tanta liquidez como para preocuparme por no tenerla a mano para un futuro próximo, pero me ayuda a trabajar para conseguir mis objetivos. Invierto en HIVE para mis objetivos dentro de la blockchain, y en HBD para una mezcla de los mismos objetivos de la blockchain y mis otros objetivos.
