I've had my own suspicions about Black Lives Matter for awhile. When it first came about I thought they might be onto something. As time passed I began to see it as a cultural problem and not a racial one. Unlike race, cultures can be changed. We are not stuck with them without recourse.
Today I was reading about Isaac Kriegman who was the Director of Data Sciences I believe at Reuters. He had been observing and noticing what he refers to as a "blue bubble" forming within the culture at Reuters with regard to BLM and obvious bias leading to the narrative being unquestionable and everything pushed supposedly in support of BLM would be sent through the system without any research or verification. Even when it is proven to be false.
Since data, machine learning, data mining, etc. are an aspect of his department he decided to look himself.
He wrote an essay (lengthy and quite good) for his company:
The post that led to my termination by Isaac Kriegman on his Substack.
This is the post that I made to Thomson Reuters’ internal social media site, called the Hub, that precipitated a barrage of hateful and racist attacks from BLM supporters within the company. When I contacted Thomson Reuters’ Human Resources department about the harassment, my post was removed, and I was told I was not allowed to use any company communications channels (email, teams, the Hub, etc.) to discuss the harassment I had experienced. Receiving no support from HR, I raised the issue with my colleagues and senior leadership over email, for which I was fired. Below is the Hub post that precipitated this chain of events, in full.
If you are still thinking the BLM narrative is correct and that actions occurring in it's name are justified I recommend giving that a serious read and researching yourself. I think some of you may find what he was finding surprising. Some of you that have been doing your own research for awhile may not.
Can we stop the madness and unite?
EDIT:
They are talking about it on Zerohedge as well:
