For decades the idea of voting for the lesser of two evils has bothered me. I've said many times it is still voting for evil. I tend to do my best not to do it.
Now if we look at the choices. It isn't a measurement of evil vs evil any longer.
Today many of the candidates and the narratives they choose to push are insane. That is a lot different than evil.
We don't want anyone that doesn't have a sound mind running the nation whether they be good, or evil.
If you are in a car and the driver is evil you'll likely still get where you are going. They may manipulate and coerce you to let you go there. However, if the driver is insane you literally have no clue if you'll get to the proper destination. They will drive based upon their emotions, and their own inner dialogs. Perhaps they'll decide they can jump over that bridge that is out... Perhaps they will identify as a bird.
Today the first criteria in voting is to look at actions of people. If they are insane they won't get a vote from me regardless of what label they choose to put on themselves.
