Ideas enthrall us. Beliefs charm us. We become captivated in the clutches of ideas, concept and beliefs which invoke and summon all sorts of imagery in our mind’s eye. Ideas and beliefs have their hold on us. We are shaped by them as they grasp us in their clutches.
The media and news shapes our minds, feeding us images and words to weave a narrative about reality for us to accept. This is the magic of language, word symbol magic. Symbols invoke and summon imagery that references reality or unreality. They shape our perception of reality. The media spins tales for us to believe in, as they are the masters of spin. They are the modern sorcerers, like the priests of old, who weave tales and mythos for the masses to consume. The tell-lie-vision creates a reality for us to believe in.
A mere whisper from the media spreads like wildfire. Anyone reported as a suspect automatically becomes viewed as guilty by the majority. It was like this with mobs who enacted mob rule. You can create false rumors and false accusations, and people believe it. People trust the media and the police. These are the authorities. They give us the “truth”. They “protect” us from deceptions and behaviors of those who would prey upon us.
Priests, religions, government and media have all worked to create a reality based on beliefs, thereby having us act out these beliefs and manifest them into reality as inauthentic, disingenuous and unreal individuals who carry out the program, plan and design that we are indoctrinated with. What we believe in truth or axioms in life, we act upon as a foundation for life, and create those beliefs into reality. Money, government and religion would have no real power or influence in our lives if no one believed in them. They are all manifested by us into existence. We can believe in anything, live according to that belief and create a reality that reflects it.

We are easily influenced by a fabricated unreality through word symbol magic. We are creating our human world based on flawed beliefs and concepts; on falsity and untrue axioms that motivate our actions and behavior. We create an inauthentic and fictional reality that we think is authentic. It’s largely smoke and mirrors; illusions all around to sell us into buying a version of reality that suits the agenda of others who want our support. Look at the wars in the world carried out in the name of fake “freedom” by Western powers.
We live in an illusion. The first thing we hear has great influence on us, like an anchor fixating us around it, with subsequent information having less weight to move us in our behavior. We form conclusions early on that are hard to break free from. We create a perception of reality, a worldview, and it becomes our foundation. We don’t want to admit we believed in a lie, that we were fooled and require revising the foundation we live in. Many or most people stay attached to a version of reality even if it’s not right, good or true to live by or support. It takes a great force, pressure, interference, friction, catalyst and possibly chaos to show them how wrong they are, that they do not see reality for what it is.
One the court of public opinion has made their judgment with the help of the media influence or authorities saying something, the damage is done. An innocent person suspected of a crime will be ostracized by people just for being suspected and no evidence demonstrating their guilt. Even when cleared, suspicion persists. In infection of the unreality, of the falsity, has anchored people to it. A person did no crime, but they are treated as guilty.
Those who buy into the unreality are guilty of falling for falsity, creating an unreality into reality. When it comes to buying into unreal judgments of people, it leads to condemning an innocent person with threats harassment, stalking, assaults, etc. This all came from words, not demonstrable or verifiable truth. A famous example of this is the Atlanta Olympic bombings and the accusations against Richard Jewell. You can see a dramatization of this in the show Manhunt: Deadly Games.
