A few days ago the European Parliament put a stop against fossil fuel cars (gases and gasolines) since year 2035. Apparently this choice is led by a new trajectory for less polluting cars while instead, electric cars are still heavily polluting, before and after their issuance.
Electric cars besides have still huge safety problems, being subject to immediate ignition during accidents and the network for charging is still not yet capillary enough.
Besides, do you now the process to dismantle batteries? Well, it’s far far from being something sustainable since a lot of exhausted metals, rare Earths, liquids are hardly recoverable and they are difficult to be safely disposed.
** BUT electric cars are really more easily controllable and trackable. Is this a coincidence?**
I then found this discovery path, that I want to share with you!
Visit the European Environment Agency website. "Data Viewer" section https://lnkd.in/dwbRR9PV
Select "Explore" on the right, and then Geographic entry "EU27", Sector IPCC "1.A.3.b.i - Cars", Gas "CO2", Year" 2019"
Verify that you get the data: CO2 emissions EU27 Cars 2019 = 479,614,670 t = 0.480 billion tons
Go to the IEA website https://lnkd.in/dt-Unvny
Check the figure on the far right of the graph: Planetary CO2 emissions 2019 = 33.3 billion tons
Calculate the ratio 0.480/33.3
Find out, without falling off your chair, that the ratio is worth the astronomical figure of 1.4%
Feel the joke that makes the EU cannonade of the endothermic stop by 2035, on the microscopic gnat of the planetary contribution to CO2 emissions, due to the cars of its poor people, remaining in the awareness of the incontrovertible fact that the eco-acclaimed ELECTRIC CARS ARE NOT even remotely WITH ZERO EMISSIONS: THEY SIMPLY ... "TELE-POLLUTE".
Therefore to note incredulously that the EU unleashes all this dirigisme and all this aversion to technological neutrality without even the result of completely eliminating that ridiculous 1.4%: a standing ovation for you Dear Sirs and Madams!
meditate for a long time on the effect of this fooling on the industries, economies and societies of the EU and... on the "massive" contribution to planetary climate change,
ask yourself: but then... why hurt yourself so much? Ideology? Interests? Both?
Finally conclude: in any case, in which hands are we?
And from point number 12, I already wrote an article with legit suspects of the ethics of the politician class. So, what are your thoughts on the matter?
@diggndeeper.com , I think that you may enjoy this one as well.
