TL;DR we're looking for crypto companies, wallets, and services to work closely with to enable as many of Dash's special features as possible in their apps, and to support them in mutually-beneficial relationships.
Dash is one of the oldest, best, most time-tested crypto projects. We've spent 11 years building the ultimate decentralized money and digital cash experience with instant transactions, permanent settlement, high security, low fees, high scalability, and confidential payments.
We took this to the next level with the introduction of the Evolution platform.

As our first proof-of-concept and killer app, we released DashPay, a mobile wallet leveraging the Evolution chain to provide our unique combination of blockchain-level usernames and contact lists to create a payments experience that's easy, intuitive, decentralized, and actually more confidential than traditional Dash payments.

Soon, though, we'll have far more features on the Evolution platform: tokens, stablecoins, smart contracts, DEXes, and much, much more!
However, many of these features are beyond the scope of a purely Dash-focused, payments-focused mobile application on Android and iOS. And more than that, it doesn't make sense for one of the most robust, comprehensive, and decentralized networks in all of crypto to be limited to only internally-developed apps.
We're confident that, in time, there will be a rich ecosystem of hundreds of apps and services leveraging all of Dash Evolution's special features. We're just looking for a solid partner to kick this off with a shining example of a killer third-party Dash app.
That's where you (hopefully) come in.
What We're Looking For
While we're happy to have any and every app and service integrate Dash's special features, specifically what we're looking for most is all of the below:
A multi-asset wallet that works with desktop, Android, and iOS
A hardware wallet
A browser extension wallet or a wallet that can connect to Web3 interfaces (like MetaMask)
Ideally, it would be best to work with one great company whose product does all three of those in one united project or ecosystem. But it doesn't have to be. If the path forward is three separate products from three separate companies for each use case to recommend to our users, we'd be happy to do that as well. The more the merrier, as eventually we'd love to see our tech fully-integrated into as many crypto services as possible.
Features
We're looking for partners who go beyond a basic integration of Dash to actually support all of the features that make it special. These include:
InstantSend: The hallmark feature of Dash transactions is instant absolute finality. This is done through the masternode network locking of "unconfirmed" transactions to make them irreversible in about two seconds. This is easily done by configuring nodes to recognize instant locks, or by using a third-party block explorer which supports this, like Blockchair. This is a bare minimum feature for us to heavily recommend services to our users!
CoinJoin: Dash's original special feature is an advanced, integrated CoinJoin implementation for extra transactional privacy. To date only a few internal Dash wallets (Dash Core, DashPay, and Dash Electrum) support this feature. We would love to see more services adopt it. Since CoinJoin is an interactive feature, we understand how it might complicate certain experiences, so it's not as high a priority as InstantSend. We're also exploring other privacy improvements which wouldn't be interactive and would be much easier to implement by our partners.
Usernames: One of the two components of Dash's usability setup is its unique username setup, which includes basic usernames as well as premium, more exclusive usernames that are voted on by the masternode. A wallet should allow a user to register such a username in the app.
Contact lists: The second part of the usability setup is the ability to actually "friend" people, make connections, which then allow for private payments, as well as the equivalent of an address book that can be restored with a seed phrase. It's worth noting that, because the "friending" process exchanges encrypted extended public keys, it could be used to exchange payment information for other coins in addition to Dash.
Evolution chain support: Both of the above features use the Evolution chain, which is a separate blockchain from the main Dash chain, with a significantly different design and structure. Supporting this chain, and bridging Dash across the two chains, is therefore a must for any app seeking to implement most of its special features.
Tokens and NFTs: Finally, the Evolution chain will have fungible and non-fungible (NFT) token support, and we'd like to have as many third party wallets as possible able to support sending, receiving, viewing, and swapping them.
All the aforementioned functionality contributes to building the ultimate digital cash experience for users. Tokens in particular will enable us to add two very interesting functionalities:
- Bitcoin-denominated tokens
- Stablecoins
Imagine a fully decentralized, self-custodial app with easy to use, intuitive usernames and contact lists that enables you to send dollars or Bitcoin with 1-3 second permanent finality, all for a fraction of a cent. This is an experience we'd like to be able to bring to as many users as possible, and you can help!

Why would you want to work with us?
Co-promotion: We work closely with our best partners to co-promote relentlessly across a wide range of social channels, at conferences, in interviews, podcasts, through AMAs, giveaways, and much more. This includes taking part in our advertising initiatives from our marketing budget. We promote the best products in the Dash ecosystem, and apps fulfilling all the requirements outlined above would be top promotional priorities of ours.
Development assistance: Dash has several development-focused organizations under its DAO. We would be happy to provide development guidance and assistance in integrating Dash's special features.
Grants/investment: Dash, as the oldest DAO, has a treasury which funds development, marketing, partnerships, and so on, anything the network votes for. We also have a DAO-owned organization, the Dash Investment Foundation, which invests in companies strategic to Dash's future in exchange for equity. Both avenues could be available to the right partners.
Building the future of decentralized money: We've been working for 11 years to bring decentralized usable sound money to the world with a user experience the masses will love. By working closely with us at this stage, you get to be one of the companies at the forefront of bringing financial freedom to the world. If you don't think we've built something really cool that has a good chance at changing the world, then you probably shouldn't be looking to work with us in the first place.
