I have already said in other publications that composting is a microbiological and aerobic process of decomposition of organic waste under controlled conditions for the transformation of this waste into a stable product.

Among the organisms that act in the composting process are actinomycetes, which are microorganisms of the Bacillus genus that are involved in the ammonification of nitrogen compounds and are also responsible for the decomposition of sugars.
Bacteria, which are unicellular organisms that also participate in the composting process, are the smallest organisms involved in the composting process.
Bacteria are the first to begin the decomposition of matter because they possess enzymes capable of chemically decomposing organic compounds.
In the composting process, these organisms break down cellulose, which is a polysaccharide, a polymer of glucose, the main component of the cell walls of plant cells and the basic building material of plant fibers.
