A concept more complex to describe than BEING, I don't think there is one. I will be risky in giving a definition of the term, but I consider it necessary before addressing the topic proposed by @ecotrain in this new week. The publication can be read here

El Ser/ Being
The Being is composed of soul, body and spirit, so we have all been taught in a unison language. Each component of the Being although they are the same for all, behaves differently in each individual, here is the theme diversity.
*El Ser está compuesto por alma, cuerpo y espíritu, así nos han enseñado a todos en un lenguaje unisono. Cada componente del ser aunque sean los mismos para todos, se comporta de manera distinta en cada individuo, hemos aquí el tema diversidad. *
Human beings are moved by Being, and in order for these movements to be as effective as possible, we should seek balance. However, the difficult situation of the human being in terms of his ambition to surpass the works of God, does not allow us to move towards the success of personal balance in harmony with nature.
A los seres humanos nos mueve el Ser, para que dichos movimientos sean los más efectivos posibles deberíamos buscar el equilibrio. Sin embargo, la difícil situación del ser humano en cuanto a su ambición por superar las obras Dios, no nos permite avanzar hacia el éxito del equilibrio personal en consonancia con la naturaleza.
Each individual thinks, acts and lives independently. We do not seek the perfection of Being, we seek the perfection of what is already perfect, the world around us.
Cada individuo piensa, actúa y vive de manera independiente. No buscamos la perfección del Ser, buscamos la perfección de lo que ya es perfecto, el mundo que nos rodea.
Conciencia
Every individual is driven by conscience. Good or bad, it is conscience that will allow or impede the advancement of humanity. It is not being but being. We are not being in this world, we are, we are not citizens, the human race are the cruelest inhabitants of the planet, the most unformed and selfish in comparison with the animal species.
A cada individuo nos mueve la conciencia. Buena o mala, es la conciencia quien permitirá o impedirá el avance de la humanidad. No es el ser sino el estar. No somos ser en este mundo, estamos, no somos ciudadanos, la raza humana somos los habitantes más crueles del planeta, los más incorformes y egoístas en comparación con la especie animal.
Conscience does not seem to hurt us. Conscience does not seem to be the torment of humanity because conscience is associated with acts of evil of the human towards another human. But is attacking nature an act of evil? Should we be penalized for every terrorist act of the human conscience?
No nos parece doler la conciencia. La conciencia, no parece ser el tormento de la humanidad porque se asocia la conciencia con actos de maldad del humano hacia otro humano. Pero, ¿Atentar contra la naturaleza es un acto de maldad? ¿Deberíamos ser penalizados por cada acto terrorista de la conciencia humana?
Some will say yes, others will argue against the question. Each one will have his own argument to discern and then, we will arrive once again to the theory where everything is "relative".
Unos dirán que sí, otros en cambio irán en contra de la interrogante. Cada quién tendrá su argumento para discernir y entonces, llegaremos una vez más a la teoría donde todo es "relativo".
In Venezuela, the weather is currently quite hot. Every day I walk through different mountainous areas and the drought is notorious. This week, the Avila National Park has been on fire due to the same drought and possibly because of global warming. The sun is getting stronger in the early morning hours. Likewise, the afternoons are terribly overwhelming with the oppressive heat.
En Venezuela, actualmente el clima es bastante caluroso. Todos los días camino por diferentes zonas montañosas y la sequía es notoria. Esta semana, el Parque Nacional Ávila se ha estado incendiado producto de la misma sequía y posiblemente a causa del calentamiento global. El Sol cada es es más fuerte desde tempranas horas de la mañana. Asimismo, las tardes son terriblemente abrumadoras con el calor agobiante.
A few days ago it was the extreme cold, strong breezes, sudden whirlwinds that we are not used to here in Venezuela. In the month of January, a nephew almost lost his life in his own room. Thank God he decided to get out of bed at a moment when a strange whirlpool shook the house, specifically in the bedroom, knocked down beams and other things from the ceiling and the bed was covered with dirt. It is an atypical event but it is happening.
Hace unos días atrás era el frío extremo, brisas fuertes, repentinos remolinos de los que no estamos acostumbrados aquí en Venezuela. En el mes de enero, un sobrino casi pierde la vida en su propia habitación. Gracias a Dios decidió levantarse de la cama en un momento cuando un extraño remolino sacudió la casa, específicamente en la habitación, tumbó vigas y otras cosas del techo y la cama quedó cubierta de tierra. Es un hecho atípico pero está sucediendo.
In every trip I make I stop to enjoy the natural landscape, in every space I see spaces appreciated and preserved by man but, others completely destroyed. An enemy of nature but a great friend of man is garbage. Environmental awareness does not enter into the humanist vocabulary. The rivers are polluted by large industries, villages have been built adjacent to them and all kinds of waste fall indiscriminately into the water.
En cada viaje que hago me detengo para disfrutar del paisaje natural, en cada espacio veo espacios apreciados y conservados por el hombre pero, otros completamente destruidos. Un enemigo de la naturales pero un gran amigo del hombre es la basura. La conciencia ambiental no entra en el vocabulario humanista. Los ríos son contaminados por grandes industrias, caseríos han sido construidos en las adyacencias de ellos y todo tipo de deshecho cae indiscriminadamente al agua.
As a consequence of all this environmental disaster, we see various effects on nature, the wells are getting drier, the rain is slow to come, the hills are burning, trees continue to be cut down, animals are in danger of extinction, the population is growing in places where there are high areas of vegetation. In short, the destruction is total and the chaos continues to grow.
Como consecuencia de todo este desastre ambiental, vemos diversos efectos sobre la naturaleza, los pozos cada vez más secos, la lluvia tarda en llegar, los cerros se queman, se sigue talando árboles, animales en peligro de extinción, crece la población en lugares donde se hallan altas zonas de vegetación. En fin, la destrucción es total y el caos sigue en ascenso.
From my point of view, I see enough information exhorting people to take care of the environment and global warming, even Pope Francis' encyclical Laudatos Si, describes responsibilities and actions to preserve the environment. In other words, it is intended to add and not subtract.
Desde mi punto de vista, veo suficiente información donde se exhortar al cuidado del ambiente y sobre calentamiento global, incluso el la encíclica del Papa Francisco Laudatos sí, se describen responsabilidades y acciones para preservar el ambiente. Es decir, se pretende sumar y no restar.
Where are the answers to minimize the problem of global warming?
- In the consciousness of the self.
- In the education of emotional intelligence from educational institutions.
- In the full knowledge of understanding that happiness is found within oneself and from there it goes outwards. If we learn to value ourselves more, we will also value the environment that surrounds us.
- Dedicate spaces for cultivation and create spaces within the communities for the exchange of production. In these same communities we can also recycle and reuse waste that pollute the environment.
- Give more movement to the body and less to vehicles.
- Maintain the ideas that have been implemented so far for the conservation of the environment and apply other strategies mentioned above to advance the issue.
- En la conciencia del ser.
- En la educación de la inteligencia emocional desde instituciones educativa.
- En el conocimiento pleno de entender que la felicidad se halla dentro de uno mismo y de allí parte hacia el exterior. Si aprendemos a valorarnos más, valoraremos también el medio que nos rodea.
- Dedicar espacios para el cultivo y crear espacios dentros de las comunidades para el intercambio de producción. En estas mismas comunidades se puede también reciclar y reutilizar deshechos que contaminan el ambiente.
- Dar más movimiento al cuerpo y menos a los vehículos.
- Mantener las ideas que hasta ahora se puesto en marcha para la conservación del ambiente y aplicar otras estrategias de las mencionadas para avanzar en el tema.
In conclusion, we must understand that the problem is still in our hands. Man's unconsciousness continues to put natural resources at risk. It is not possible to call to conscience those who do not have it in themselves. It is the task of each one to apply to take care and not to harm.
En conclusión, hay que entender que el problema sigue estando en nuestras manos. La inconsciencia del hombre sigue poniendo en riesgo los recursos naturales. No se puede llamar a la conciencia a quien en sí mismo no la tiene. Es tarea de cada uno aplicar para cuidar y no para dañar.
