When Nature claims to take us by surprise..

In life we must always be very attentive to the things that can happen, however with nature nothing is written because even the weather forecasters themselves often think they are giving accurate information and it is the opposite of what happens.

Everything happened after an ordinary day where the sunlight was increasing with temperatures above 35 degrees, that is a very normal day in my town, however at night very quickly and without contemplation a downpour of water as they say in my land, a very strong downpour that caused many floods not only in my town but in almost all of Venezuela leaving several dead in the state of Lara as a result of a landslide that had never happened in that sector.

To complete in my town we have suffered for several months the rupture of several bridges and retaining walls of major rivers, these freshwater tributaries that have flooded more than 150,000 hectares of plantations and under more than 50 thousand families lost their belongings and animals that were used for their production and subsistence..

Important steps have been taken to repair some of the affected areas by the state and the producers themselves, but it seems that when they are close to closing some of the gaps to restore the river beds, the water flow due to heavy rains undermines the work done.

We can only hope that the waters calm down and that it does not continue to rain, even though the forecast is not very encouraging. Every moment that passes, the waters reach new lands, flooding their plantations and production and even localities that never expected the water to enter their homes and damage their household goods and appliances.

Undoubtedly these are times that we do not want to live in where we see the work of many years lost and the effort made is not worth it. It is also worth noting that nature is reclaiming its course and the climatic changes are the product of the indiscriminate hand of man, on the use of the same.
