Welcome back to the QOTW you beautiful shining light filled embodiments of love! Have you had a successful week so far? I hope so! The question is what do we mean by success from a spiritual perspective. We have become SO used to measuring our success in material terms that i wonder if we have every really thought about what it means in spiritual terms. Our world measures success from a very limited and narrow mind, and it has had massive consequences on our self worth and how we feel about our lives. Many people live feeling like they are not very successful because they measure it by the yardstick of how much money they have, or what kind of job they have etc. As I’m sure you will all agree, this is not really a very meaningful way to measure how well we have spent our time on this planet.. especially these days when we are faced with so many issues that mostly stem from the most successful and powerful people and companies. In fact, the most successful people in material terms are responsible for most of the destruction of our resources, climate, species, trees, and mental health to name a few.
So this week I ask, what YOU think success looks like or means from a spiritual perspective. There is no right or wrong answer, and your post could focus on your own life and how you feel y0ou have been successful from this perspective. Alternately, you can write more theoretically what you think it means giving examples or ideas or people that you think are successful. As always you are free to focus on any aspect that this question brings up for you, or indeed alter the question a little bit. There are no hard and fast rules, this is your world! :)
