Thank you to all nearly 40 of you who posted for this weeks QOTW! your responses were just perfect.. and im happy to say a great mix up too! It would have been a bit concerning if everyone would have posted that we shouldn’t have kids any more that’s for sure.,. as a few of you pointed out.. that might well mean the end of the human race as we know it!... There were so many wise words and stories shared.. no one can read it all.. that would take all week! but somehow i manage to go through each one and pluck out a relevant and meaningful sentence or two for us all to see in one page.

I think that having children is a decision for brave and responsible men and women. if we are prepared to have children, we must do so, and if it is in our ability to help or adopt a defenseless child, we can also do it.

Honestly I have some mixed views and feelings about this... there is no clear Yes or No for me. It is surely a very difficult time and a challenging task to be thinking of parenthood for the younger generation.

The activities handed over to us by our ancestors run in a circle, Birth-Grow-work-marry-reproduce-die, our children take it on and follow the same pattern, if one of the elements from this circle is removed, then human at a point stops existing.

have always thought that bringing children into the world is a great responsibility, I consider that if you can not offer them security and a standard of living that allows them to maintain and educate them, it is better not to have them, but that is only my personal assessment.

We should still give birth to children regardless of all the calamities going on in the world today,but we should always remember to impose them with good moral values, influence them positively ,and try as much to help them fulfill and achieve their goals in life.

In my opinion, couples who are living in poverty should wait till they are ready both financially and mentally before bringing kids to this world. We already have enough children suffering, let's not add to the numbers.

Talking about having children today is not the same as in the past, the cost of living is not the same, there are more needs to cover thanks to the change of pace. It is also necessary to take into consideration the pandemic problem.

if you compare this to a normal period after a child is born. It's supposed to be filled with love and loved ones, which wasn't possible for them. I would not want to risk another child growing up in even weirder circumstances.

Each person has free will and decides what to do or not to do, in my case I have 5 children and all of them arrived in difficult economic times and served as a catalyst for a greater effort on our part.

I truly agree it's important to have one of your own but after that, if you ever feel the need of having one more, just think about those kids out on the street and no one to look after. If you can, support them.
