I just got off a phone call with a friend. I was worried I had not heard from him. He explained everything going on with him and how it led to frustration.
One significant thing he said was the fact that he had to take a break. He was stressed and this led to low productivity.
Sometimes, what we actually need is to take a break when we feel overwhelmed, stressed, drained and exhausted (physically and mentally). Learning how to relax is fundamental.

People get too focused pursuing their goals neglecting the necessity of relaxation because they feel it is a form of distraction. They keep pushing even when they feel stressed and overwhelmed.
Knowing when to take the break is very important for our general well-being. It improves your health, physical and mental well-being.
Relaxation helps you think better and view things from a better perspective. It increases productivity. You become refreshed and strengthened to pursue that goal.

I have different ways of coping with stress. Yoga and meditation are my best form of relaxation. I also spend quality time with my family and friends.
Changing environment also works for me. I get to meet new people, visit new places and try out new things. Listening to soothing music has been really helpful.
Recently, I started developing my writing skills by joining hive. Whenever I am stressed, I just take a break from whatever I was doing, write a post and engage. This helps me express my feelings through writing.
I am always more productive after taking a break. Sometimes you achieve more when you do less. I suggested this to my friend and he agreed he was going to give it a try.
