People say life is a competition. You always have to stay ahead, you need to achieve, you need to be successful, you have to prove yourself.
I say, take a break!
I know, you are freaking out seeing what I just told you. Well, let me explain a little more.
I never oppose getting success. I also believe being in the game of achievement is a great thing. But don't you think we are rushing too much and missing out on life in all of this?
Mental health issues are getting common day by day. And do you think, it's automatic? Our lifestyle, perspective, thought process doesn't have any connection with it? I guess, not.
There's no way to argue that we rush too much, we forget to take a break, notice the small things in life, embrace the little happiness around us. And as a result, we produce too much stress, anxiety and this leads to getting depression. Not only that, we become less excited about life, we miss out, we forget to celebrate for little things.
The problem never arises if you learn how to balance life and work. But for most of us, it's quite difficult. And that's why we face so many mental health issues these days.
I would say, don't push yourself too much. Yeah, there's no limit, you can be very successful by working hard. There's no conflict in working hard and enjoying life. Try to find the balance, don't let yourself out from this 'trying'.
Otherwise, you will also complain the same as others about life. Work hard but don't miss out on life!
