Have never really thought of this unless this @ecoTrain question has popped up. Seriously to think of it who are the most relevant people of our times, the media people, the politicians, the social media influencers or the health workers, teachers, the healers or just the common man. Well I am sure the answer will vary a lot depending on what are our own belief systems and our priorities.
In my growing up I have come across some great teachers, gurus, health care workers and I have always felt that these are the people who make a difference to the world with their selfless service. I personally believe that the people who work selflessly are the most important people. But the only thing is that these selfless workers their reach is very limited, their focus is more on service then gaining popularity or becoming famous, and hence the lives they touch are also limited.
In the recent times the way things are happening we need influencers at mass level and that's where the Social Media actors are now coming into full light. But again here who are the most relevant totally depends on which area of our life are we most tilted to. For someone who is completely involved in Cryptos, vloggers from the Cryptoworld will be the most relevant people, a person who is into medicines will consider medical professionals as most relevant people. For me personally since I am more inclined to Healing therapies, I feel these are the most relevant people as they are making difference to the world by sending out good energies to people. So more or less relevant people of the time will more or less depend on what we believe in the most.
But again yes we are now being stretched in many different ways and life has become much more exposed then what it used to be say even 10 years ago. So in that manner we want some real Heroes who can make a difference. To deviate a bit, more then people now let me come to the professions. So if I have to talk about the most relevant profession than I believe that Politics is one big profession where people can really bring in change and make a difference to the world. Now whether it's happening or not is another question and yes to answer that, it is not.
It is the most powerful profession but sadly the most abused profession also. So if people do right jobs here, then they can change the face of the world. I feel they are the most relevant people because whatever actions they are taking good or not good, the consequences of the same come at a very mass scale, and this is not only now, it's been in 100s of years the same thing. At large masses still believe in them, they look upto them and common people make them leaders with faith that they will do good to their nations.
I feel anyone who has the power to influence is relevant at this point of time, but what will matter it how are they influencing. Are they bringing any change, is there any revolution happening, are things getting better with their power. If the answers are yes to these questions, they surely are important and relevant.
While addressing this question, I am not taking into account people who are relevant in my life, I am looking at a broader picture considering the question is the relevant people of our time.
