It is another week with another intriguing question from @ecotrain. "Why is it so hard to meditate"?
A lot of people find meditation to be fun and helps them to ease the stress of life, while some people find it very difficult to meditate. Meditation is a very difficult task for some persons and a very easy thing for some.
MEDITATION.
Meditation can simply be seen as an act of engaging in mental drill. It can be a process whereby you concentrate on a particular thing, maybe sound or a continuous repetitions of a verse from any book
Meditation can actually be done anywhere the meditator feels comfortable and will be able to stay focused without been distracted.
For me meditating or practicing meditation is a very difficult task, the worries of life can hardly give you that space to meditate, but I normally do give it try a once in awhile.
BENEFITS OF MEDITATION.
- Meditation helps one to do away with emotional stress.
- Meditation helps to relax the brain.
- Meditation helps to ease stress.
- Meditation gives you the opportunity to create and develop your imaginary world.
REASON MEDITATION IS SO HARD FOR ME.
Many people engage in meditation as a means to escape anxiety and depression. In order to escape anxiety and depression they made meditation habitual, but I have my own way of escaping it.
Little or no space for extra activity: We all work ourselves out trying to fend for the family, while on my side been a student comes with a whole lot of stress after which all I need is to rest and not to meditate. I cannot meditate when am stressed out.
Inability to get that immense focus or concentration to meditate: Once in awhile I try to meditate but one thing or the other crawls in and I get distracted, and don't bother giving it a try again.
Not finding a comfortable position: A lot of people meditate with both legs bent over each other, I cannot stay in such position for Long.
Noisy environment: As it is a school environment, some set of boys In my apartment play music all night and all day long with nobody out to caution them, meditating in such environment seems impossible for me.
MY EXPERIENCE AFTER MEDITATING.
For the few times I practiced meditating, I had a some experience and it helped me a lot.
- First I felt relieved from all the worries I had before the meditation took place.
- I had a relaxed mind.
In a nutshell meditation is good for human body, as it helps relax the brain, mind body and soul.
