What I need to let go of or "let off " most easily is the acceptance of the physical loss of loved ones, mainly people and pets. Lo que necesito dejar ir o “soltar” con mayor facilidad es la aceptación de la pérdida física de los seres queridos, personas y mascotas principalmente. Rationally I understand that every living thing has a life cycle, birth, growth, reproduction and death, once born sooner or later the physical end comes. It was devastating and also contradictory. I was grateful that mum enjoyed the care and love of her family, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and had a peaceful and quiet end. However the grief and sadness spread and the mourning turned into depression. Fue devastador, y también contradictorio. Sin embargo el dolor y la tristeza se extendieron y el duelo se transformó en depresión I had to face this situation with professional and family help, and by dedicating time to review and inner work to identify and recognise what I had to do to overcome it. Initially prayer, silence and contact with nature were very helpful, then conscious breathing. Then reading, writing, photographing nature, positive affirmations, and more recently meditation. The journey has had sunny and cloudy days, laughter, tears and turbulence, accompanied by some unexpected episodes of anxiety and fear. With ups and downs, I move forward, determined to improve and let go of the attachment to the physical presence of loved ones. And I am achieving it, step by step, understanding that it is a personal process that takes time, at my pace in my tempos and I am determined to continue. Con altas y bajas, sigo adelante, decidida a mejorar y soltar el apego a la presencia física de los seres queridos. Y lo estoy logrando, paso a paso, comprendiendo que es un proceso personal que lleva su tiempo, a mi ritmo en mis tiempos y estoy decidida a continuar I feel better, at peace, freer, enjoying life with what each of its stages implies, in the present tense. Me siento mejor, en paz, más libre, disfrutando la vida con lo que implica cada una de sus etapas, en tiempo presente. In this period I have also learned to live each day, with the best disposition, joy, gratitude and enjoying what I have and what I am, without creating expectations based on the environment, this has been liberating and I continue to work on it En este periodo también he aprendido a vivir cada día, con la mejor disposición, alegría, agradecida y disfrutando lo que tengo y soy, sin crearme expectativas fundamentadas en el entorno, esto ha sido liberador y continuo en ello.
