It has been a long time since I did not post anything on Hive. I hope all of you are doing very well. ^^
I was so busy completing many things to prepare for a lunar new year that is a very important traditional occasion in Vietnam. I live in Hue city which is in the central of Vietnam and famous for a lot of rituals on some special occasions like the Tet holidays. So I and my family had to do a lot of tasks as well as prepare many things for welcoming a new year following the tradition of my hometown.
In another post, I will tell you more about our city's customs on the Tet holiday. Because today I just want to share with you some things on the first day of the new year 2022 of mine with the hope that you can feel a little bit Vietnamese Tet vibes and the really nice spring air. And I also would like to tell you a bit about how the first day of Tet is important to our local residents. In Vietnam especially in my hometown, the first day of the new year is especially important to Vietnamese. According to the concept of Vietnamese, what we say and what we do on that day have a great impact on the whole year. Therefore, the first one who enters the house is extremely important. He/she must be a good or kind or positive or wealthy person to be able to bring the owner the same things. In my hometown, they usually prefer the children to be the first ones visiting their house since as their concept, children are innocent and fresh and full of life, which can bring them luck and prosperity. That is one of the uniqueness of Vietnamese New Year customs. Tet is a really special occasion that intertwines faith and everyday life. That must be one of the reasons why overseas Vietnamese always miss the Tet holiday.
Today is also the first day of the lunar New Year 2022 in Vietnam. 😊 I must say that the weather is very beautiful and bright for everyone going out and enjoying the spring vibes. My family visited the pagodas in the morning to pray for a good favorable year and good health. It seems to come back to normal in my hometown. I can feel the happiness and the hope around me through people's smiling, blissful eyes. I love the moments! It is really nice to see everyone happy, fun, and joyful. I wished that the beautiful moments could last forever. ^^

If I have to choose 3 things to say gratitude today, They must be:
- I slept very well this morning. That recharged me and made me full of energy.
- I was able to eat a very favorite dish in the lunch. That was so delicious and tasty. It has been nearly a half of year that I did not have an occasion to enjoy it. I am so lucky! 😊
- My flower was blooming today. That's so great. 🌻
