This time of year everything is trying to get something to eat. Including the catapillars, which need food to grow into butterflies.
Though I would rather them not eat my blueberry leaves. So I treated them with a fungus that attacks certain catapillars.
I found two groups of them, some bigger ones in the picture above. And then some real small ones in the pictures below.
It's weird how only the surface of the leaf gets eaten. Leaving a place for the little caterpillars to rest on.
I also found a couple inchworms on my Black Tartarian Cherry Tree. I pulled it off and then sprayed the cherry tree with the liquid fungus.
The signs of the leaf waters is the poop left behind. And the chewed up leaves.
I find alot of caterpillars this time of year but not many inchworms so that's a new one for me. I guess my fruit trees have attracted these little critters. I'll need to stay on top of them. Luckily @makinstuff recommended I use something that attacks them and is natural. We shall see if it affects that kind of Caterpillar. If not I'll go with the neem oil.
