We all have a critical inner voice which gives us some destructive thoughts about ourselves and others as well. The critical inner voice does not necessarily reflect our real-self; mostly it represents our anti-self and gives us some destructive information which may not very important in our life. But the truth is if we learn to deal better with our critical inner voice, we can make it constructive.
Now the question is how you can know you have a destructive or a constructive critical inner voice?
I would say this is not actually a tough job. If you feel and notice that your inner voice is telling everything bad about yourself as well as others; like you are stupid, you are good for nothing, or he/she is not necessary for your life. they are not doing well and something like this; you can point out these as a destructive critical inner voice. You see there is no information which can help you to develop as a better person.
We can actually challenge our critical inner voice and get rid of these negative feelings. In order to take power over our destructive thought process. We need to first understand what our critical inner voice is telling us. Like if it's happening when we are in a bad mood or if it's a continuous process in our brain and what types of messages it's giving you.
The best thing is we can always take control of our inner voice. We first need to have strong self-confidence. Many people think that if they stop listening to their inner voice, it can help them get rid of it. But I would say if you take power over your voice like when your voice gives you a message that you are good for nothing; prove yourself, in your brain, to your anti-self that you are actually good for many things.
So in this process, you can challenge your voice and you can take control over your critical inner voice. Once you do that you can really notice a better change in yourself and thus can make your inner voice constructive!
