This week's QOTW winds through the mysterious realm of emotions that make beings glow and recognize themselves as peers capable of transcending the body to engage in sublime close encounters of all kinds when we fall in love.
WHY do we fall in love, rather than what is love.. and the second part is something I have never given much thought to even though I am still not really 'over' any of my previous relationships and marriages. Our desire to find love is a powerful force, and for many people that I know, it occupies most of their thoughts and time. Do we all seek love for much the same reason, or do we all have our own unique reasons? As always, feel free to expand and explore this topic. Love and falling in love are certainly two different things even though one is contained in the other.
Loving has no limits, falling in love is limited, it is about strengthening the bonds, the relationships, the sensations, the visions, the missions between two people.
When we fall in love, a series of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual processes develop. Our whole being trembles at the arrival of this "something" that invades often unknown internal spaces.
There is something biochemical and energetic that makes our body vibrate when we fall in love. The expressions, the look, the sweat, the attention, the emotion contained in the breath are some indicators difficult to hide that make us feel different and infected with the "virus" of love that brings changes to our life.
At first, love relationships change the atmosphere in which the being develops. That is why there is so much connection and a pseudo-unification is gestated that not only brings joy and detachment, but also surrender. At this stage, sweetness, attachment, passion involve the energy of two beings who unite to give free rein to that elf that is love and magic, and illusion is installed between two.
However, as everything in life levels out and the infatuation moves into a more relaxed and secure phase. Perhaps there will no longer be butterflies fluttering in the stomach in the presence of the other in the meetings, they will have already migrated to other pink skies, to other looks that are just crossing and sparkling. But there will be another form of experiencing the same emotion that marked the initial union, there will always be common tics with which to communicate an "I care for you", and "I love you" without words, a wink, a hug, an "I am here for you".
But what happens when the magic of falling in love is over, as it sometimes is? The mind unlearns? The body forgets the chemistry? The spirit detaches itself from that other being with which it was unified?
It seems to me that you move on to another form of relationship, but the love remains intact, even if there is no longer a crush. Love seeks another form of vision for that other person. That's why we look at it as a blood relative and a form of brotherhood is generated between the former lovers, if no damage was caused by living together. What Love unites, is not separated by life even if it seems, so it is not forgotten, even if there are traces of pain or resentment.
It is possible that in the course of our lives we may have several crushes and breakups, some stronger than others, some very painful. However, in all of them the seed of love sprouts and therefore the illusion and passion necessary for it to prosper, if it does not, it is simply because not every tree is destined to bear fruit, but to fulfill its cycle and function.
But why do we easily get out of some love relationships and get hooked on others and forgetfulness takes time to appear even though time has run out?
There are times when our psychological needs become pathological and unhealthy attachments flourish in us, planting weed roots that must be removed with specialized help.
Sometimes, we become confused and lost in paths of fear that affect our self-esteem, while we allow ourselves to be carried away by a toxic spiral that stagnates us. However, if we rub the lamp of forgiveness with love for the other and ourselves, the necessary Light will flow to see with the eyes of the heart the tangle of feelings we have created.
But despite the ups and downs of emotions, the fear of losing one's identity, the battles for reciprocity, the struggles for power, the exposure and the occasional suffering, it is worth living that intensely, it is worth crossing the bridge to another being and contemplating the wonderful and strange vision of light entangled in mistletoe tangles
